Responsibilities:- Treatment Room and Equipment Preparation:
Ensure treatment room and equipment are properly disinfected and prepared for patients according to clinic and PCI standards, including instrument sterilization. - Chairside Assistance:
Provide chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures. - Patient Assistance:
Provide professional and welcoming assistance to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding. - Dental Radiographs:
Develop and process dental radiographs in accordance with guidelines. Assist in monitoring and maintaining radiation safety procedures and protocols. - Dental Records Management:
Maintain dental laboratory results and create/maintain dental records in accordance with established procedures. - Inventory Management:
Order and maintain inventories of dental clinic supplies. - Patient Health History:
Collect and record patient health histories accurately. - Confidentiality:
Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to patient and organization. - Teamwork:
Work cooperatively with clinical staff to provide quality patient treatments in a positive team environment. - Clinic Policies and Procedures:
Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities :
- 1. Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.
- 2. Conduct comprehensive oral assessments and screenings to identify oral health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- 3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits, to promote optimal oral health.
- 4. Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to prevent tooth decay and cavities.
- 5. Take dental X-rays and assist the dentist in evaluating dental radiographs for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- 6. Perform periodontal charting and assist in periodontal therapy procedures as needed.
- 7. Provide support during dental surgery procedures, including assisting the dentist, preparing surgical instruments, and maintaining a sterile surgical environment.
- 8. Assist in cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as teeth whitening, dental bonding, and veneer placement, to enhance patients' smiles and confidence.
- 9. Assist in general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions, to address patients' dental needs and maintain oral health.
- 10. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical findings.
- 11. Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- 12. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- 13. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques, technology, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications :
- 1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- 2. Valid Dental Hygienist license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- 3. Minimum of (insert number) years of experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
- 4. Proficiency in performing dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, and periodontal therapy.

Responsibilities- Performs dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride, root planning, and in-office whitening treatments.

- Carries out Periocharting and sub-gingival scaling for patients with Periodontal Disease.
- Records dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentists.
- Maintains dental equipment and x-ray machine.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience post-qualification in a related field
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use computers for a variety of tasks
- Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices
- Knowledge of computer task
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
