RoleThe Commercial Lawyer will be responsible for leading and supporting a broad range of legal, transactional, compliance and corporate matters. The role is to safeguard business interests and optimize current and future profitability by providing contextual legal advice and negotiation services in relation to corporate matters.
Responsibilities- Corporate and Legal Agreements: Drafting and reviewing corporate documents including MOAs and AOAs and restructuring of companies, draft, negotiate, interpret and review a wide range of legal documents and commercial agreements and advising on all contractual matters (Assembly Resolutions, Shareholders Agreements, Business/Assets/Shares Purchase Agreements, Exclusive & Non-Exclusive Distribution/Commercial Agents Agreements, JVs, real estate and other various legal instruments) and ensuring that the legal and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted, and vetted.
- Operations Support: Provide adequate support in identifying, assessing and providing reasonable solutions against legal risk involved in the different various business agreements in connection with the Group (the holding company and its subsidiaries) operation in different jurisdictions.
- Company Formation: Advice on all aspects of corporate company’s formation/winding up and corporate ownership restructures that are appropriate to the Group multi-jurisdictional business activities and commercial needs within the UAE.
- Compliance: Ensure appropriate corporate governance and compliance structure are put in place and providing legal framework on policies of various departments. Advising on various corporate governance matters (meetings convention, quorum, vote eligibility, proxy etc.).
- Legal Trends: Provide the Group with accurate and creative advice on various aspects of the laws and regulations applicable in the UAE, or in the jurisdictions where the Group has activities, governmental regulations and rules and business transaction and keeping abreast of all new and proposed legislation in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Process Improvement: Support the management in legal process improvement initiatives.
- Communications: Assist in communicating with the business units all relevant ICT standards and policies and implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System.
- Management Support: Provide legal opinions and proposes solutions that allow the senior management to take proper decisions.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare analysis and ad-hoc reports to the Chief Legal Officer and stakeholders highlighting Legal performance.
- Bachelor/Master Education in Law.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (Arabic speaker is a must).
- 7 years’ experience in a similar role and industry/group of companies.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working within a Law Firm/ Group of Companies.
- Deep understanding of UAE law and its application to the business.

The role?
To conduct planned/corrective/project maintenance on offshore pedestal cranes under the direct supervision of the crane supervisor.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- Effectively manage the coordination and implementation of all offshore cranes planned and corrective maintenance. This will include daily, weekly, monthly, 3-monthly, 12-monthly, 24-monthly, 48, and 60 monthly routines.
- As a Stage 3 Crane Operator, assist with Deck and Vessel lifts as required by the client.
- The Crane Mechanic will also undertake other works at the discretion of the Client on equipment unrelated to cranes deemed to be within their competence and fulfil such emergency duties as required by the Client.
- Preparation of cranes for inspection or survey by a third party, ensuring the validity of all relevant certifications. Take full responsibility for ensuring all crane certifications are valid, including 3rd Party thorough inspection SWL and PLT).
- Daily reporting will be in the form of a written log detailing work carried out, spares ordered and consumed, general condition, status, etc.
- Assist Crane Supervisor with the detailed CCE inspections every 12 months, including hydraulic hose survey condition. This will include photographs and dropped object surveys. Records to be maintained and shared with the client.
- Assist the Crane supervisor with the reduction of the crane maintenance backlog.
- Provide accurate identification of all components, report on the condition, and provide sufficient information to order the correct spare parts.
- Ensure constant improvement of safety, performance, and quality standards.
- Ensure all ongoing work is correctly risk assessed and identify/action new assessments.
- Mechanical diploma or equivalent (SVQ, City & Guilds etc.)
- 3 years in a lifting equipment environment.
- Experience in repair & maintenance of crane-related equipment
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical operations or maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas industry

**Job Description**
AECOM are currently seeking experienced BIM Lead - Public Health, to be based in our Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. The BIM Lead will work as part of the wider Building Engineering practice and support the Mechanical engineering team by leading plans and developing the discipline BIM execution including Model and Drawing production in accordance with BIM Execution Plan and BIM standards compliance, project specifications and established practices.

+ BIM Model and Drawing co-ordination within MEP and across Disciplines.
+ Identifies incremental improvements to existing procedures or processes that increase efficiency or work quality.
+ Participate in evaluating advanced technologies/tools that can improve efficiency and optimize design workflows
+ Conduct clash detection and resolve issues between MEP systems and other disciplines using tools like Navisworks, Revizto.
+ Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others.
+ Performs technical quality reviews including documentation in project record in accordance with policies and procedures.
+ Participates in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain / defend work, etc.
+ Creation of Templates, High Level BIM Families, Shared Parameters, Scheduling and BIM Modelling in general.
+ Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements.
+ Set up, maintenance, support and troubleshooting BIM projects.
+ May manage more junior staff members coordinating activities of a small team.
+ Maintaining liaison with design groups.
+ Under some supervision, may complete assignments to high complexity.
+ Familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.
**Qualifications**
+ A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.

The Contractor shall provide OM&R support for all generators, automatic transfer switched (ATS), synchronization gears and light carts, refueling support services to enable refueling of all operational generators on an ongoing basis. The Contractor shall provide inspections, maintenance as required. In addition, the Contractor shall perform facility management and maintenance and repair for fuel systems supporting facility stationery and emergency back-up generators.

The Contractor shall use all USG provided generators, transformers, switchgears, fuel tanks, cabling and any other equipment needed to support the government's requests of spot generators providing prime power for mission requirements. Additionally, in order to minimize mission impact due to power outages caused by routine maintenance or unexpected equipment failure, the Contractor shall utilize USG provided back-up generators to meet the performance objectives of providing reliable and continuous prime power support and no scheduled power outages longer than one (1) hour.
The Contractor shall:
Install, remove, and operate electrical power generating and control systems, automatic or manual transfer switches and associated equipment with proper technical skills.
Check equipment for serviceability; position equipment such as gasoline and diesel engines, generators, switchgear, air compressors, and other power generating auxiliary equipment.
Check installed equipment to ensure compliance with publications, policies, and directives.
Inspect, test, and service component systems such as safety, fuel, lubrication, cooling, and air pressure, pumps, regulators, governors, and accessory equipment.
Observe and interpret instruments such as ammeters, voltmeters, frequency meters, synchro scopes, automatic temperature and pressure recorders, and engine oil, fuel, and coolant gauges.
Adjust engine generator systems to maintain proper voltage, current, frequency, and synchronization; synchronize multiple generators when needed.
The Contractor shall operate medium and low voltage generators as required. Operations of the electric generators include start-up, transfer of load, generation, and shutdown of all associated electric power equipment. Operations responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting generator and electrical output performance as required; ensuring adequate stores of fuel are available for continuous operation of the plants; switching operating generators to maintain electrical output while permitting servicing on generators taken off line. Duties include observation of key and critical operational parameters and taking appropriate measures in the event of out-of-tolerance conditions. For locations where generators are providing prime power, performance of these duties must be on a 24-hour a day, 7-day week shift schedule, if continuous power is required. The Contractor shall use technical orders, where applicable, and employ good commercial practices in all generator operations, including use of AFMAN , applicable UFCs, manufacturer instructions, industry standards, and environmental/occupational safety requirements.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent training/experience and a valid driver's license
+ Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the electrical power generation field
+ Ability to manage resources and activities devoted to installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power generating and control systems
+ Must have knowledge of: Principles of electronics and electricity, including generation, conversion, transformation, distribution, and utilization; types, capacity, and purpose of low voltage circuits, circuit breakers, switches (automatic/manual type), fuses, regulators, relays, instruments, and meters associated with electric generation and distribution; interpreting instrument and meter readings; wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings and technical publications; techniques of operating and maintaining internal combustion engines, generators, generating plants, distribution panels, and accessory equipment; use and purpose of test equipment; safety rules and practices; grounding practices, environmental policies; principles of management; and operation and repair of electrical power production systems
+ Must be power production journeyman or master technicians
+ Experience with operating and maintaining generators ranging from 5 to 4,300 kilowatts desired
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling costs throughout the construction project lifecycle, from initial estimates to final accounts.
