For our client, we are recruiting a Technical Training Instructor, for Abu Dhabi, Barakah Power Plant.

This role involves full engagement with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) instructional design model, ensuring effective training delivery and continuous improvement. Administrative responsibilities include supporting training documentation, database maintenance, and compliance with training standards.

The Applications Delivery Specialist is responsible for the successful deployment, integration, and ongoing delivery of business applications within the corporate environment. This role manages the end-to-end application delivery lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are implemented on time, within scope, and aligned with business requirements. The Applications Delivery Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to coordinate releases, manage risks, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance throughout the delivery process.

• Support Application Delivery: Assist in the end-to-end support of enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.
• Quality Assurance Processes: Contribute to maintaining quality assurance processes, ensuring applications meet performance, reliability, and security standards.
• Deployment Assistance: Provide support during deployments, ensuring smooth execution with minimal disruption to business operations.

• Work with External Applications Managed Services Delivery Manager: Collaborate with external managed services teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services and alignment with business needs.
• Reporting to Governance: Provide regular reports on vendor performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Contract Review & Negotiation: Support contract review and negotiation processes to optimize vendor agreements and service quality.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and address risks related to vendor dependency and ensure continuity of services.

• Applications Handover Governance: Lead the smooth transition of applications from development to operational support, ensuring all documentation, knowledge, and resources are transferred effectively.
• Post-Handover Monitoring: Monitor applications closely after handover, ensuring stability and addressing any emerging issues.
• Utilization Monitoring and Reporting: Track application usage and generate detailed reports on performance, identifying areas for optimization.
• Applications Renewals Tracking: Ensure application lifecycle milestones, renewals, and licensing are tracked to ensure continued service and compliance.

• Candidate should have a background in consulting and solutioning in the domain of process automation, systems integration, forms automation.
• Must have experience working in the energy or similar industry.
• Must have experience working in UAE or the Middle East.
• Hands-on experience with low-code no-code platforms and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Diversified knowledge of technology and tools such as Java, .Net, SQL.
• Experience enhancing and supporting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
• Deployment and troubleshooting experience on app servers like WebLogic, Tomcat, IIS.
• Capability to reverse-engineer from code when required.

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.

8 to 10 years of relevant experience.

The Technical Training Specialist is responsible for delivering instructional content to Operations personnel and key management staff at a nuclear power plant. They administer exams in accordance with Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulations (FANR) guidelines and adhere to best practices established by program leaders for the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process.

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing training programs for Operations personnel, as well as administering written exams and performance evaluations. The Technical Training Specialist must ensure that all training material is delivered effectively and that trainees meet the required standards.

In addition to training duties, the Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for supporting outage and emergency response organizations to ensure safe and continued operations. This may involve working closely with other teams to develop and implement effective solutions.

The Technical Training Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety, Security, and Business Continuity policies. They will take personal responsibility for their own safety and report any situations that could present a hazard.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific discipline, as well as three years of relevant training experience, including three months in a nuclear power plant environment.

This role oversees the provision of training and evaluation services to operations personnel at a nuclear power plant. The focus is on ensuring adherence to established best practices, such as the Systematic Approach to Training process.
