• Each Assistant reports to the Supervisor of the relevant discipline and collaborates with the mechanical completion supervisor in directing subcontractor activities within the assigned area.
• Interface with subcontractors and site organization regarding project standards, specifications, and quality of work; first controller of subcontractor activities and quality.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities within own area, including intermediate and final inspections and tests.
• Evaluate test results and certificates, informing the supervisor of any defects.
• Ensure construction works comply with project specifications, related standards, and the quality control plan for the area.
• Note work quantities performed by subcontractors and prepare the construction monthly progress report for the area.
• Review the detailed activity plan for the area and compare it with work progress.

• University Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Commissioning Field Operator executes the activities pertaining to his discipline in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
• He/she can operate in one of the following different fields according to the specific project.
• He/she reports to the Operation Shift Supervisor.
• Operating in field, under the instruction of the KOB, is responsible to maintain in operation under safe condition the plant/unit/equipment at the MCR or maximum efficiency point, keeping the production or other detectable parameter at a high point.
• In case of trip or partial load, has to operate and remove the constraint and increase again the load.

During the commissioning of the systems:

• Keeps records of all activities performed in the logbook.
• Overlaps his/her colleague to convey remarks and happenings of the plant during the shift off.
• Reads carefully the written handovers in the Control Room logbook.
• Applies lockout and other safety procedures for equipment under maintenance.
• Follows Shift Supervisor and Desk Operator instructions to operate the plant in the field, being physically present close to the starting machine or any other equipment.
• Checks for smoke leaks, noises, vibrations, fluid levels, instrument readings and other possible anomalies.
