Job Description
- Guides each property to ensure a successful execution of their commercial strategy.
- Conducts regular and collaborative commercial sessions with property teams, including structured commercial reviews and attendance at RevMax meetings.
- Focuses on Managed/Owned network, with an increased focus on top fee contributors.
- Regular engagement with SMDL specialists and Operations team to highlight opportunities and performance risks.
- Collaborate with SMDL specialists and property teams on action plans to address performance gaps.
- Collaborate with property teams to ensure commercial strategies align with Accor regional strategies, and the priorities of the HUB.
- Assist property teams to ensure all relevant regional and corporate SMDL opportunities are maximized with particular focus on Web Direct, Loyalty, Sales and Digital with relevant KPI’s.
- Lead initiatives to shift the company’s segmentation to align with strategic goals.
- Ensure all properties work closely with all Global Directors of Sales and Regional Sales teams in the key account strategies, RFPs, MICE, Leisure and accounts in pursuit of new business for key markets.
- Ensures consistent use of tools to drive consistency across the region (i.e Commercial self-audit tool, Commercial Action Plans).
- Proactively support, guide and validate key SMDL vacant positions.
- Develop high-caliber talent, anticipate future talent needs and guide plans to address skill and resource gaps.
- Collect and support the sharing of market intelligence amongst regional and property teams on commercial opportunities and understand future threats.
- Coach and provide guidance on the budgeting and pricing validation process.
- To build high value working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Support the Commercial Strategy Ramp Up plan with the DOSM to ensure no delay in key milestones for new openings, re-openings and re-branding properties.
- Take an integrated view across all functions of Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Digital, and Revenue and validate pre-opening plans & SMDL budgets.
- Be the point of contact for new DOSM’s for central support to get ahead of schedule on Commercial plans.
- Assist VP Operations in developing relationships with property owners, presentations and effective .owner communication to provide reassurance and manage expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hub-driven projects are well understood and effectively implemented at the hotel level.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel industry

Lead the beverage operations of the German Beer Garden, ensuring alignment with traditional German drinking customs and high service standards.
Design and curate a distinctive beverage menu featuring premium German beers (draught & bottled), schnapps, regional wines, and seasonal cocktails.
Champion Oktoberfest operations, including bar set-up, keg tapping ceremonies, and beverage rituals like Maßkrugstemmen (stein-holding contests), etc.
Recruit, train, and inspire a passionate service team focused on authenticity, storytelling, and guest engagement.
Source and maintain relationships with key German beverage suppliers and brewers.
Drive revenue through promotions, themed nights, and beer festivals throughout the year.
Ensure compliance with all HACCP, hygiene, and licensing standards.
Monitor beverage costs, inventory, and wastage control through effective forecasting and ordering systems.
Collaborate with culinary and entertainment teams to create cohesive dining and cultural experiences.
Be the face and storyteller of the space – infusing Bavarian spirit and charm into every shift!
Fluency in German and English is a must.
Minimum 5 years of experience in beverage management with at least 2 years in an authentic German beer hall, beer garden, or Oktoberfest setting.
Strong understanding of German beer styles, pouring techniques, and cultural traditions.
Previous exposure to launching or managing Oktoberfest events or Bavarian-themed outlets is highly desirable.
Experience in UAE or an international 4/5-star hotel environment is a plus.
Certification in WSET / Bartending / Beverage Management preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Manage reservations, guest seating, and table rotations efficiently to optimize flow and guest satisfaction.
Share the story of Biergarten, its authentic German roots, seasonal dishes, and specialty brews.
Maintain accurate waitlists and offer thoughtful updates to guests during peak periods.
Coordinate with service and culinary teams to ensure a smooth, well-timed guest experience.
Support themed evenings and traditional German events like Oktoberfest, Maifest, and festive holidays.
Keep the host desk and entrance area tidy, welcoming, and organized.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with warmth and professionalism.
Assist in minor administrative duties such as menus, guest preferences, or birthday arrangements.
Fluency in German and English is essential.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Hostess in a high-volume restaurant, preferably with European or cultural-themed dining.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a naturally welcoming personality.
Understanding of German dining etiquette and cultural nuances is a big plus.
Well-groomed, poised, and confident with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Familiarity with reservation platforms and POS systems (e.g.Micros).
