Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at pallet receiving locations, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with asset productivity objectives.
  2. Drive improvements in collection performance by identifying root causes of failure and collaborating with internal teams to improve customer experience and the CIFOT measure.
  3. Enhance customer satisfaction by conducting regular visits and providing targeted training for retailer staff, ensuring effective equipment control practices are in place.
  4. Ensure the successful onboarding and implementation of new customers, establishing agreements around asset recovery processes to ensure a smooth transition and operational efficiency.
  5. Manage and execute audit programs within the account portfolio to ensure adherence to asset management standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate audit result forecasts.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support business growth initiatives, develop solutions that improve asset recovery, and expand CHEP's customer base.
  7. Monitor asset control metrics using data to proactively identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance asset recovery performance.

The Role

  • Develop channel partner relationship in order to drive the renewals process within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and qualify new lead opportunities to drive increased revenue opportunity in specific target vertical markets
  • Generating prospective customers through "warm and cold calling" and lead qualification from marketing leads, telemarketing services, and web
  • Build relationships with specific channel partners who are relevant to your accounts and opportunities.
  • Accurate management of all leads, opportunities and associated data via the CRM tool – (SFDC), and update all activity within SFDC.
  • Develop, learn and communicate specific sales propositions to end user customers.
  • Attainment of all set targets and achievement of KPI's.
  • Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company
  • Joint strategic and tactical planning with your Account Manager.
  • Provide all other tasks associated with account management – arrangement of evaluations, licenses, renewals and quotations to name a few.
  • Provide accurate forecasting along with your Channel Manager, and be able to provide a forecast of your business while your Channel Manager is absent
  • Manage the end to end sales cycle on all smaller opportunities, including the management of "renewals".
  • Take ownership of specific marketing campaigns which are being run for your region/accounts, utilizing the Telemarketing Team for initial calling. Be able to feedback the success to the broader sales and marketing team.
  • "Stand-in" cover for when your account manager is out of the business. This will include, but not limited to forecast reviews, QBR's and being available as the first point of contact for your accounts and channel partners.

As we prepare for our next growth phase, we’re looking for a Client Relations Associate who can help us maintain a strong human touch, without drowning in manual updates.

We will be hiring you on a part-time basis and aiming to ramp up in about 1 month when you will become full-time.

About You

You’re organized, people-smart, and proactive. You’ve probably worked in client service or support roles before, maybe at an agency, a startup, or a service-based company. You know how to manage client expectations, stay on top of deadlines, and communicate clearly. Even under pressure.

Key Objectives

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, operations, or account support
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient with CRM or ticketing systems (Zoho experience is a plus)
  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented and self-managed in a remote environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service-first mindset
