The Recreation Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Sports & Recreations department to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

Ensure complete knowledge of products and services offered by the hotel and lead the implementation of all health and safety codes, particularly focusing on children's safety.
Train and assist in evaluating attendants working with fitness programs, supervise instructors, and oversee all associates involved in activities or functions arranged via the Sports & Recreations.
Use qualified staff in areas requiring relevant qualifications (e.g., Fitness Leader, Aerobic Instructors, Lifeguard) and monitor program success through participant numbers and guest feedback.
Promote events to guests in conjunction with the Anantara Concierge and work closely to maximize guest satisfaction and hotel revenue by enabling guests to experience the spa.
Develop and maintain a strong working environment with other departments, ensuring appropriate staffing, proper accounting procedures, and effective management of resources.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
- Proven track record in creating and implementing innovative recreation programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to participate in various sports and recreational activities.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience in budget preparation and financial management.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
