Job Title: Senior I&C Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior I&C Engineer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This is a full-time office-based role with business trips.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to the technical delivery of engineering excellence through executing assigned scopes of work, providing discipline expertise, and supporting and supervising task delegation to teams.

• Execute assigned scopes of work, participating as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment.
• Direct preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
• Evaluate problems, organize investigations, and establish general performance specifications for components, equipment, systems, processes, etc.
• Check Engineering calculations as well as check all drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards.
• Provide guidance and direction to project teams, managing, motivating, and mentoring professional engineering specialists.

To be successful in this role, you will have a B.Sc. or equivalent degree in the Engineering discipline from an accredited university. You will also have minimum 10+ years relevant experience in major Brownfield oil & gas projects, including at least five (5) years in similar position.

Pre-FEED, FEED experience is required, and detailed engineering experience is preferred.

You will also have the ability to provide guidance and direction to project teams, managing, motivating, and mentoring professional engineering specialists.

Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates, professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes, and procedures, and knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Maintains own knowledge of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives, and industry technology developments and promotes to direct reports.

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Yokogawa. Our aim is to shape a better future for our planet through supporting the energy transition, (bio)technology, artificial intelligence, industrial cybersecurity, and more.
