Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aerospace Engineer to design, develop, and test aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missile systems. The ideal candidate will apply principles of aerodynamics, propulsion, structural mechanics, and control systems to solve complex engineering challenges and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop aerospace systems and components including airframes, propulsion units, guidance systems, and navigation technologies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis using simulation tools and mathematical models.
- Develop and test prototypes, including static and dynamic testing, wind tunnel experiments, and flight tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure system integration and performance.
- Perform failure analysis, troubleshoot design issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, MIL-STD, AS9100).
- Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, analysis reports, and test procedures.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and timeline estimation.
- Support the certification process for aerospace products and systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred for R&D roles).
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in aerospace system design, development, or testing.
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Familiarity with industry standards, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion systems, and structural analysis.
- Proficient in engineering simulation and modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with unmanned aerial systems (UAS), satellite systems, or space vehicles.
- Knowledge of systems engineering and requirements management (e.g., DOORS).
- Programming/scripting experience (e.g., Python, C, MATLAB).
- Security clearance or eligibility for defense-related projects (if applicable).

We are hiring an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team of professionals in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing aircraft and spacecraft systems and components. You will also be involved in managing projects, analyzing data and finding solutions to technical problems.
Responsibilities:
- Designing new aircraft and spacecraft systems and components
- Conducting research to improve existing systems and components
- Testing prototypes to ensure they meet safety standards
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians on projects
- Managing project timelines and budgets
- Analyzing data from tests and simulations to identify issues or areas for improvement
- Developing solutions to technical problems that arise during the design process
Requirements:

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. We are looking for a candidate who is fluent in English, both written and spoken. Preference will be given to Malayalee candidates who have previous experience working in the aerospace industry.

As a Senior Test Equipment Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge test equipment that ensures product excellence across aerospace development programs.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and delivering in-house subsystem designs for test equipment supporting key development projects.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and delivering in-house subsystem designs for test equipment
- Leading and contributing to design reviews, enhancing testability, reliability, maintainability, and producibility of products
- Interpreting and implementing test specifications and procedures for hardware and software test tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Bridging development and production teams by transferring design intent and product knowledge for smooth industrialization

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Expertise in test engineering, product acceptance testing, and test equipment development
- Proficiency in NI LabVIEW & TestStand or similar test automation tools
- A deep understanding of systems engineering processes including requirements, design, integration, and certification
- Strong communication skills with ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Leadership: Proven mentor and technical leader, capable of driving team success and project delivery

Additionally, it involves cultivating a diverse technical skill set to make a substantial impact on the success of every spacecraft mission.
The research engineer will also supervise, together with the project team, graduate students to gain hands-on experience in developing satellites subsystems. The current lab team is composed of several systems engineers and experts working mainly on Satellites Subsystems development.
Position Requirements
- Support the design and implementation of propulsion Spacecraft Subsystems in terms of definition of requirements, design and verification.
- Participate in the spacecraft integration and the testing of different spacecraft’s modules, including the preparation of the bill of material, integration procedures for all active subsystems in collaboration with the system engineer.
- Thorough understanding of cutting-edge space technologies relevant to the advancement of satellite system development
- Space Segment procurement activities focusing on Spacecrafts subsystems including the required test equipment.
