Job Description

Ensure maintenance tasks and certification of Royal Jet aircraft during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs including A checks C checks Line maintenance checks trouble shooting defect rectification components removal/installation routine servicing pre-departure/post arrival checks and standard Aircraft system checks are carried out to the highest standards of safety quality and serviceability in accordance with the correct and currently revised maintenance manuals and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate applications of certification privileges in accordance with the limitations of Company and Local Regulatory Authorizations
• Supervision of Maintenance staff allocated to him by the Duty Supervisor to ensure safe and on time dispatch of aircraft under his control
• Accompany aircraft when away from base as Licensed Aircraft Engineer
• Ensure that the organisations approach to data protection security and retention complies with best practice and that policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
• To develop continuously improve and implement the organisations approach to risk management
• Monitors ADDs and all other defects on Royal Jet Fleet and arrange for its rectification including arranging of spares and tooling at the earliest opportunity.
• Monitor closely of operational problems related to the fleet including significant occurrences/incidents relevant SBs/SLs/SILs
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspection maintenance modification and defect rectification carrying out all maintenance in accordance with the laid down procedures and ensuring all safety precautions are observed
• Ensure and perform all maintenance and due items called up by Fleet Planner and MCC Controller in a timely manner
• Provide information to Duty Supervisor on the serviceability status of the aircraft.
• Advise Duty Supervisor of any impending service disruptions problems or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating program. Keeping the Duty Supervisor informed of all his work performed during his duty period.
• Ensure staff under his immediate control adheres to published technical and safety requirements defined in MOE and PPM.
• Define priorities to the staff allocated to him to ensure that efficient use of resources are directed to an on time and safe flight departure.
• Ensure documentation and certification are completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures to meet Royal Jet requirements.
• Comply with Royal Jet MOE and PPM when working on aircraft and adhere to the procedure to ensure aircraft is released to service in accordance with local authority and other civil authority requirement.
• Contribute as part of the team when away from base duties including acting as a focal point on technical matters performing the duties of an able bodied person during an emergency situation and supervise cargo loading in the absence of a loadmaster on a flight.
• Monitor modification status of the aircraft he is authorized on including Technical Notices Quality Directives and MOE & PPM. Carry out research and inquiries with Technical Records & Engineering computer system and read all relevant documents instructions and manuals thus keeping current of all technical procedural and regulatory developments.

• 10 Years experience in Aircraft Maintenance 5 years of which as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer preferably in a VVIP Maintenance environment.
• Educated to a degree level in Aeronautical Engineering
• Valid UAE GCAA License B1 License
• Full rating on at least two type of aircraft operated by Royal Jet
• Familiarity with the EASA/FAA/UAE GCAA regulatory rules
• Sound technical background.
• Experience on at least types of Royal Jet Operated aircraft.
• Experience with VVIP Maintenance Environment
• Experience with large carrier/maintenance organization.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the Engineering Projects team, ensuring that standards are maintained in development of schedules and specifications of configuration and equipment for new aircraft projects.

• Analyse and compile product data including product offerings technical specifications and performance data during aircraft specification evaluation review of product presentations to finalise selections.


• Review and extract project information and supporting data from existing airplane baseline programs and industry trends to adapt to new airplane programs.


• Support IT enhancement of existing and new business concepts/ processes such as workflows to support fleet expansions department data protection and integrity regular maintenance information updates of specification and Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM). Adapt and explore methodologies to use manufacturer's digital data and software.


• Where applicable develop 3D models and presentations for EK fleet that includes design improvements aircraft cabin designs floor plans of interior arrangement and Layout of Passenger Arrangement using software programs such as AUTOCAD. Create and build digital representation and templates repository of cabin interior elements. Conduct engineering studies through data collection field studies and generating visual aids including technical drawings.


• Contribute to the investigation of issues and defects of cabin items to generate engineering solutions and effectively communicate technical information within various internal departments using different aircraft technical documentations.


• To assist Project Engineers in preparation of confidential specifications and tender documents matrix for new aircraft programs. Maintain specification documentation cost summaries aircraft specification matrix up to date and monitor project schedules and new airplane deliveries. To coordinate for airplane deliveries with supporting departments.


• Assess the study of new products and technology used in Pax IFE and Pax Inflight Entertainment Connectivity (IFEC) and assist in IFEC specification preparation for Emirates fleet.


• Review the evaluation of new technology Products and Regulatory Compliance mandates for Avionics and Operations in Communication Navigation and Surveillance domains.

Our client is a Papua New Guinea based Helicopter Company with operations throughout PNG. The company specialises in oil and gas support, mining industry, precision construction, seismic and general charter operations. We are seeking a Full-Time type rated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our organisation located in Madang, Papua New Guinea.

• Responsibility for ensuring that all maintenance including any defect rectification carried out during base maintenance, on the line or at outstations is carried out according to the standards specified in the organisation's exposition.
• All work on aircraft components is carried out to the standards specified in the organisation's exposition.
• All the standards and procedures specified in the organisation's exposition in relation to the organisation's component and materials stores are complied with.
• All required data is available and accessible to all staff who require access to it, to carry out their tasks.
• All data is at the latest revision status.
