Description

We seek an experienced Liaison Program Manager to facilitate seamless coordination and communication between our teams in Dubai and Emirates airline.

  1. Serve as primary point of contact for program-related communications with Emirates airline.
  2. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and reviews with Emirates's linefit & retrofit program teams.
  3. Address and resolve issues or concerns raised by Emirates in a timely manner.
  4. Represent the Program Manager during the 1st Installation phase and assume handover between the Program Teams (IPT) and Field & Customer Support Teams based in Dubai.
  5. Oversee implementation and progress of various programs in coordination with internal teams and Emirates airline.

  9. Facilitate change management on Emirates programs, specifically drumbeats on the Change Requests backlog with related Safran Program Managers; participate in negotiations with customer and sales, and decide on integration into ongoing programs.
  10. Ensure efficient contract management transversal to all Emirates program, from initial contract convergence to contract execution tracking and renegotiation with commercial teams.
  11. Maintain consistent and open communication channels between our teams and Emirates.
  12. Prepare and deliver regular status reports, updates, and project documentation to both internal stakeholders and Emirates.
  13. Evaluate all stakeholders on changes, challenges, or updates regarding the program.
  14. Coordinate and represent our programs in Executive Review with Emirates, from RFPs and offers up to in-service follow-up.
  15. Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with representatives from Emirates airline.
  16. Represent our interests in all dealings with Emirates, fostering a collaborative and cooperative working environment.

Requirements

This position is suitable for candidates with at least 5-6 years of experience in an aeronautical, automotive, or railway environment.

    • Support the Project Directors and their teams to deliver their projects

    • Acts as the Company representative with the client during the program execution. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.

    • Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.

    • Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project. Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.

    • Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.

    • Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.

    • Discuss the qualifications required of the key project positions in specific detail with the relevant department managers.

    • Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds the goals established in these plans.

    • Develops core training schedules, records, and risk management reviews in coordination with the client.

    • Works with the key project individual to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the client and company management of any such changes. The Program Manager is specifically responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders.

    • Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.

    • Identifies, recruits, and hires top key talent to differentiate our offering in the utility market.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A Master's degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.

    • Minimum of 20 years of experience managing utility programs or large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on wet infrastructure

    • Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources for large, complex utility projects.

    • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for utility infrastructure

    • An ability to work in a collaborative way with colleagues and clients

    • An ability to understand multiple projects and manage performance risk

    • An ability to produce high quality reports and presentations and deliver internally and externally

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    • Effective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal/external correspondence

    • Ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders as required by the client

    • Significant experience in PMC projects.

    • Understanding of the PMC, construction and design delivery process and the functions inherent to construction management of large-scaled projects

    • Understanding of budget development and cost accounting

    • Ability to manage and encourage a team of design and construction management professionals

    • Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and others

    • Knowledge of construction contract negotiation and administration

    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents

    • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints

    • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of support function problems

    • Ability to function in a multi-organizational environment by developing relationships that complies with the client's proactive, collaborative culture.

    • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required

    • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology in implementing an effective integrated digital platform tool to centralize all documents and online approval workflows

    We are looking for a Program Manager who will lead programs of work or several unrelated projects oversee Project Managers and delivery teams executing these projects. You will support the Project Managers in delivering full lifecycle digital transformation projects from inception to implementation using agile methodologies. You will assist with the assembly of teams and the development of detailed work plans process improvements project estimates financial management and resourcing using straightforward problemsolving skills. .     What youll do:

    • Manage mentor and progress their team overseeing their work and performance.
      • Constantly and consistently identify implement and socialize the most effective processes tools and systems to keep the department current with project management processes.
        • Collaborate with department heads and leadership to create achievable and measurable project plans that include regular status reporting and RAID documentation.
          • Oversee workflow and resourcing of projects.
            • Lead and develop comprehensive resource models and risk mitigation plans in collaboration with discipline leads.
              • Identify and pursue opportunities to foster crosstraining to help build a strong foundation for the team.
                • Serve as a program delivery lead for high visibility projects.
                  • Together with strategy and tech coown the growth of the accounts under their supervision.
                    • Develop project plans and assumptions for new business pursuits
                      • Collaborate on SOW creation (timeline resource model & assumptions)
                        • Manage program revenue and accountability for actualization of sold revenue.
                          • Make program level decisions based on margin and revenue data.
                            • Project present and commit program revenue to leadership
                              • Display confidence when leading a conversation with a willingness to have and share a point of view even if its an unpopular opinion.
                                • Actively contribute to the development of the companys culture and standards of quality

                                What will be expected of your team:

                                • Provide agile project management oversight for multiple projects. Activities include:
                                  • Coaching and mentoring teams to follow Agile best practices.
                                    • Facilitating scrum ceremonies
                                      • Preparing capacity and velocity metrics for teams ahead of sprint planning
                                        • Administrating task board management
                                          • Define project objectives scope estimate timeline and level of effort.
                                            • Forecast and communicate resourcing needs prior to project start and throughout project life cycle.
                                              • Actively monitor the projects critical path milestones to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
                                                • Develop project strategies and plans and identify the methods and tools required for the project.
                                                  • Monitor budget against plan and work with client and project team to resolve overages and underages in a timely manner.
                                                    • Coordinate and collaborate with crossfunctional teams who will provide technical solutions and to resolve problems.
                                                      • Manage scope creep by coordinating and responding to new requests for changes from original specifications.
                                                        • Ensure quality through planning quality assurance and quality control techniques.
                                                          • Identify analyze and mitigate risks to maximize the results and minimize the consequences.
                                                            • Facilitate issue management with the client and project teams and collaborate on response and resolution plans.
                                                              • Work closely with the end users business analysts technologists and other stakeholders to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs.
                                                                • Provide solutions leadership and motivation to project team members.
                                                                  • Provide transparent internal and external communications through status reporting.

                                                                            What you bring:

                                                                            • A minimum of 5 years agency/consultancy experience.
                                                                              • 810 years of experience working on enterprise level projects.
                                                                                • 5 years running cross functional programs.
                                                                                  • A minimum of 10 years clientfacing digital project management experience using agile methodologies.
                                                                                    • Arabic language would be useful but not mandatory
                                                                                      • Possess an indepth understanding of project management workflow infrastructure project life cycles and management methodologies and styles.
                                                                                        • Ability to see the big picture while also focusing on the details.
                                                                                          • Experience with Jira/Confluence
                                                                                            • Experience coaching and mentoring scrum teams and scrum masters.
                                                                                              • Bachelors degree preferred
