As a skilled Air Freight Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the air services product in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with the team to review and support day-to-day quotations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customers.
- Work closely with colleagues to analyze local charges and agreement quotes, minimizing potential branch losses and optimizing revenue streams.

Proactively manage accounts payable and receivable, maintaining a healthy cash flow and adhering to company credit procedures.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices, utilizing BNP and other tools effectively.
- Monitor and resolve intercompany accounting discrepancies via AJAX reports, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
- Promote compliance with company policies and regulations, serving as a role model for employees and upholding high standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Communicate regularly with the team to ensure awareness and understanding of policies and regulations, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

Accountabilities
- Work with the Senior Product Manager to contribute to the product strategy, vision and roadmap.
- Review and prioritise the team backlog as part of Iteration Planning, including coordinating dependencies with other Product Owners.
- Responsible for accepting the final Iteration Plan.
- Continuously improve the backlog with the team, ensure all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritised .
- Ensure the scrum team understands the required features and functionality to be delivered in each iteration.
- Responsible for detailing features and user stories with acceptance criteria and acceptance tests.
- Responsible for the acceptance of features and user stories, this includes validating that the stories meet the acceptance criteria, persistent acceptance tests, and that they comply with the Definition of Done (DoD).
- Facilitate regular demos with the team ensuring the most critical aspects are shown to the stakeholders.
- Facilitate the iteration retrospectives and drive discussions on what can be improved to increase the velocity and quality.
- Additional responsibility for maintaining system training course material and conducting trainings as part of new system roll outs and refreshers as required.
- 5+ years’ experience working with Cargo Airline Products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent is preferable
- Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner or equivalent is desirable
- Experience with Agile development methodologies including SAFe, Scrum and Lean Portfolio Management
- Demonstrated success in defining, delivering and launching products, especially in the Air Cargo domain
- Technical and Air Cargo domain knowledge with proven ability to drive solutions
- Experience defining vision and strategy for a technical product
- Recognized as an active team player, with excellent communication and coordination skills as this role requires working with multiple teams across the organisation

As a Senior Cargo Handling Assistant, you will distribute, allocate and monitor work progress of all Cargo, courier, mail and Express products within the assigned specific area such as (Manifesting, Build-up, Break down, Updating, Import Doc, Acceptance & Delivery, Ramp, Planning, Perishable, Quality & Tracing) of Hub operations. Manage and Guide a team Cargo Handling Assistants, Porters and Equipment operators in specific areas of operations in order to achieve/complete productivity targets and ensuring safety and security compliance. Responsible for the accuracy of all Cargo documents processed manually and within automated systems to enable Exports, Imports & transfers happen effectively in line with the agreement of carriage within the specified time norms.
In this role, you will;
- To closely co-ordinate the build up activity on a shift basis in order to achieve the SkyCargo objectives by monitoring the loading activities in the warehouse as well as the aircraft side. Ensure at all times, that the handling of time and temperature and pharmaceutical shipments demonstrates compliance to the European Union Good Distribution Practice (EU GDP) requirements.
- Plan the loading of the cargo product into ULDs/bulk for carriage on the assigned aircraft in accordance with the priorities given and the volume and payload available, to achieve the optimum utilisation of capacity.
- Check the cargo is loaded as specified in the load plan for assigned flights to ensure that the safety of the aircraft is not compromised and service and product quality standards are maintained.
- Advise and verify any deviations from planned cargo uplift requirements in order that the necessary amendments can be initiated and implemented to minimise the impact of deviations on service standards and revenue generation.
- Co-ordinate any special cargo handling requirements and alternations to advised plans with responsible authorised personnel within the GHA/CHA organisations to promote operational efficiency and service with the productive utilisation of resources. Assist customers where and when required in processing import and export cargo to maintain and enhance customer service standards and perceptions of Emirates.
- Check for and monitor cargo irregularities, discrepancies (damage, loss, etc) initiating preventive/corrective actions as necessary to minimise costs rising from claims, create safety awareness amongst junior staff.
- Inspect ULD's and ancillary cargo equipment reporting deficiencies for defect rectification in order to maintain safety standards prolong equipment life and reduce replacement costs.
- Monitor the offloading/unloading of cargo from/onto arriving/departing flights, checking for irregularities and/or deviations from standard policies and procedures, information superiors of problems and co-ordinating requirements with the designated responsible representatives of the Ground Handling Agent.
- Monitor the delivery times of cargo from the ramp to the warehouse and subsequent processing to assure quality standards in respect of customer service detailing deviations in order to maintain and enhance product quality.
- To update information on Skychain with shipment details, this will enable customers to track the status. Communicate with outstations by exchanging information to achieve the operational objectives and thus best service to our customers.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below;
- 12 years of schooling or equivalent .
- 3+ years in Air Cargo / Logistics.
- Knowledge of Skychain.
- Advance Cargo courses and Dangerous Goods Acceptance, when deployed in acceptance and DG documentation verification functions.
- Ability to demonstrable high level of knowledge and competence in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) acquired through experience and training.
- Sound knowledge of cargo operation handling and documentation procedures.
- Ability to work independently based on guidelines provided.

- Coordinate passes and travel arrangements for site personnel and visitors.
- Monitor and supervise baggage handlers, electrical/mechanical tech commissioning support, and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) work activities.
- Assist with preparing reports related to project progress and create site, progress, and management presentations.
- Manage and control snag lists, working closely with the Construction, T&C, and QA teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform general administrative duties, providing backup support for colleagues in case of absence or workload surges, and assist with document translations when required.
- Support T&C (Testing and Commissioning) coordination and related activities to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, security, environmental, and quality standards, adhering to all relevant regulations and best practices to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably within construction or related industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Previous experience on construction sites is a strong plus, as is an understanding of site operations and safety protocols.
- Highly structured, organized, and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment, collaborating with teams from varied backgrounds and disciplines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and spoken formats.
