Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate records of completed maintenance work
- Represent the organization internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders
- Verify that maintenance on aircraft systems meets company standards and policies
- Certify work and release aircraft systems in accordance with relevant license categories
- Hold a B2 engineer certification

Aircraft Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of commercial aircraft.
Key responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance tasks, inspections, repairs, and component replacement on Air Arabia and third-party aircrafts within the scope of Category A1 authorization. This includes reviewing assigned tasks with the Maintenance Manager to gain full understanding of the work, priorities, documentation requirements, and cautions before starting work.
Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Technicians prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assignments from the In-Charge, ensuring that required documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions. They also carry out scheduled aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify and record any defects or damage in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for regular reporting of assigned tasks to the In-Charge and alerting them to any problems with aircraft condition or with the execution of the work. You will also manage the safety of own assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring all published mandatory precautions are taken prior to commencing work and during task execution.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year experience performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types. They must hold a B1 Basic License or Category A License issued by the GCAA, the Civil Aviation Authority of UAE. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to a good standard for technical communications is also essential.
