Role Summary:

This is a key position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency within the Aviation Workshops. The successful candidate will work closely with the Workshops Management to ensure that all aircraft systems and equipment are properly maintained and serviced.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in aviation maintenance, preferably in supervisory roles. He/She should possess excellent technical knowledge of aircraft systems, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Evaluating maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies.
• Ensuring subordinates manage all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM and related publications.
• Performing maintenance trend analysis and applying production control, quality control, and other maintenance management principles to ALSE/NVG repair shop operations.
• Instructing personnel and conducting technical training in ALSE/NVG equipment, maintenance, supply, and safety procedures.
• Evaluating the technical training program for host nation personnel.
• Serving as the focal point for all parts, tools, shop stock, and supply requisitions.
• Maintaining accountability for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop.
• Keeping a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment.
• Performing fit checks and adjustments on flight helmets, oxygen masks, survival vests, and other ALSE items for military and contractor flight crew members.
