The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience, and for a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (i.e. Housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).

  • Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code, to assist the Store Manager with the day to day Store Operations including opening and closing and Store Management cover and other security aspects. To run the Store in the absence of the Store Manager if required.
  • Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non business like greeting, to be able to train new staff on the Point of Sale (POS) operation and to be responsible for corrective action at the POS. To deal with any customer issues arriving at the POS to ensure smooth customer service is uninterrupted.
  • Provides customers with current relevant information about the product, to assist with ensuring the compliance with in store procedure with regard to pricing and ticketing to ensure that customers are aware of product prices and to protect the company against any loss related to incorrect pricing.
  • Provides quality service in the fitting rooms, follows up with customers in a timely manner, maintains cash wrap cleanliness and attempts to add on to the sale
  • Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, maintains cash wrap cleanliness and captures customer information in the database.
  • Sincerely thanks all customers for shopping as they exit the store, and invites them back.
  • Participates in and attends all store meetings and other related functions
  • Represents a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand and the company
  • Participates in all inventories
  • Assumes and completes other duties as assigned by store management.
  • Meets or exceeds weekly sales goals
  • Satisfactorily completes all duties as assigned by management
  • Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule

Overview of the role

Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation for the assigned brands of the organization.

What you will do:

Stock Management

  • Maintain required inventory levels across POS
  • Allocate new arrivals as per merchandising plan
  • Consolidate SKUS based on sales on a weekly basis and store profile
  • Liaise with warehouse to ensure periodic replenishment based on merchandising plan
  • Periodic analysis of merchandising plan to ensure accurate stock allocation based on customer profile per POS
  • Generate ageing report and distribution across POS based on brand strategy
  • Analyse stocks for wholesale and DDF on a monthly basis with Brand manager and suggest corrective actions to channel partners
  • Monitor and follow up on blocked stocks
  • Allocate furniture or POS material based on requirement from brand/ retail team

Reporting

  • Access SAP on a daily basis for daily reports on stocks, sales, vendor performance, ageing, pricing etc
  • Prepare monthly sales report for brand principals
  • Update internal sales reports on a weekly basis per POS/ Channel/ vendor
  • Maintain master file for brand and back order as per current formats
  • Prepare sell in and sell out reports for wholesale and DDF. Generate MCBA stock download and POS stock download on a weekly basis
  • Generate ZSTK stock ageing report with current SOH

Co-ordination

  • Co-ordinate with principals for back order conformations
  • Co-ordinate with channel partners for processing orders, returns etc
  • Co-ordinate with sales staff for specific requirements for stock or display material

Required Skills to be successful

  • Analytical ability
  • Good communication
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to identify priorities and organize and plan activities to ensure proper and timely execution
  • Ability to work as a member of a team

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Accounting Department / 2 years retail operations experience is necessary

Overview Of The Role
The Interior Designer works with the visual presentation of the IKEA product range in the Furniture Showroom. He/she ensures all designing; presentations and communications should be as per IKEA standards.
What You Will Do

  • Assist in planning in-house projects and in preparing drawings and perspectives according to IKEA Concept.
  • Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom.
  • Conduct daily inspection of the showroom and ensure that damages are fixed/addressed immediately.
  • Support the planning and implementation of the store commercial calendar.
  • Maintain all areas in the store in accordance to IKEA standards.
  • Follow IKEA manuals to produce functional home furnishing solutions within the store.
  • Show customers the extension of the range coordination, and various ideas and proposals for different rooms in the house, living and realistic, complete with accessories.
  • Plan and decorate the room sets to be inspirational for the customers and offer home furnishing solutions
  • Assist the customer with solutions for their homes
  • Get involved in other projects relating to activities that are carried out in the store from time to time. This may include rebuilding business area, based on feedback from range relating to changed priorities, or poor performance of the area.
  • Assist Visual Merchandisers as and when required, in projects or activities planned for the store.
Required Skills To Be Successful
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Excellent command of Arabic language is preferred.
  • Excellent Design & Creative skills
  • Good knowledge in home furnishing, market, social trends, fashion
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Strong drafting, space planning, interior and architectural design skills

Job title: Assistant - Retail - Inside Burj Al Arab (Seasonal) at Jumeirah.

Responsibilities
  • Performing all retail floor functions.
  • Maintain visual presentation of the retail store, adhering to merchandising plans, cleanliness standards, stock control, items priced, organized and tidy.
  • Ensure the right products are displayed at the right time and in the right place to drive sales.
  • Assist with retail deliveries, shipping and receiving of inventory.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for customer complaints, escalating to team leader and Spa Director when necessary.
  • Monitor individual and group performance of item sales and evaluate needed changes through guest demand and sales reports.
About You (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in retail/cash handling.
  • Retail, merchandising, or sales-related courses.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and improvisational skills.
  • Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential).

Overview of the role

The Interior Designer works with the visual presentation of the IKEA product range in the Furniture Showroom. He/she ensures all designing; presentations and communications should be as per IKEA standards.

What you will do

  • Assist in planning in-house projects and in preparing drawings and perspectives according to IKEA Concept.
  • Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom.
  • Conduct daily inspection of the showroom and ensure that damages are fixed/addressed immediately.
  • Support the planning and implementation of the store commercial calendar.
  • Maintain all areas in the store in accordance to IKEA standards.
  • Follow IKEA manuals to produce functional home furnishing solutions within the store.
  • Show customers the extension of the range coordination, and various ideas and proposals for different rooms in the house, living and realistic, complete with accessories.
  • Plan and decorate the room sets to be inspirational for the customers and offer home furnishing solutions
  • Assist the customer with solutions for their homes
  • Get involved in other projects relating to activities that are carried out in the store from time to time. This may include rebuilding business area, based on feedback from range relating to changed priorities, or poor performance of the area.
  • Assist Visual Merchandisers as and when required, in projects or activities planned for the store.

Required skills to be successful

  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Excellent command of Arabic language is preferred.
  • Good knowledge in home furnishing, market, social trends, fashion
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Strong drafting, space planning, interior and architectural design skills
  • Multitasker and attentive to details.

  • Degree / Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture
  • 3 – 5 years in relevant area
