The accountant - Payables is responsible to assist Senior Manager Finance for all areas relating to processing of company's accounts payable transactions and related accounting support to the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
Main Duties:
- Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, validation of accounts payable vouchers after checking it with purchase orders for all schools.
- Ensures the accuracy of accounts i.e. correct coding of vendor, cost center, general ledger account, invoice amount, and preparing bank payment vouchers. Matching these to the disbursement.
- Reviews and maintains accounting documents together i.e. voucher, invoice, delivery note and purchase order copy/agreement copy.
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
- Manages closing of AP Module in Oracle and accruals and transfer it to general ledger every month end for all schools.
- Reviews cheques and wire transfers for invoices provided by vendors, reviewing instructions accompanying items to determine proper disposition and crediting accounts in accordance with standard financial procedures.
- Prepares and reviews reconciliation of accounts payables with general ledger for all schools.
- Handles vendors' correspondence via phone or email concerning payment status, and other related matters.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and external auditors to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
- To provide all other information and perform all other tasks as and when requested.
- Maintaining general ledger and preparing accounts payable vouchers, bank payment vouchers and bank transfer advice accurately and timely.
- Vouchers are filed and maintained completely. Effective and efficient problem-solving skills.
- Manages AP Module closing accurately and within the agreed deadline of month end closing.
- Effectively and efficiently transfer all accruals to general ledger.
- Preparing cheques and wire transfer accurately and disbursing payments within the allowed credit period by vendors.
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable with general ledger are prepared accurately and timely.
- Develop a strong understanding with the vendors and respond them spontaneously. Understand the requirements by external auditors and provide them their required information accurately and timely.
- Provide complete accurate monthly schedules for:
- Operating payables,
- Contractual suppliers’ trackers,
- Accrual trackers,
- Advance to suppliers,
- Suppliers to be paid for the month,
- Planned payments &
- Cash clearing
- Adhere to additional responsibilities and efficiently provide all other information as and when requested by the Line Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years in experience in finance function or Professional qualification with 2+ years’ experience in similar role
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and Oracle / ERP
- Proficient in English
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
- Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Manager - P&C will oversee and lead the HR function across multiple schools. This strategic business partner role requires balancing daily operational HR needs with long-term workforce planning and culture-building initiatives. The P&C Manager will partner with School Principals and senior leadership teams to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, while also ensuring alignment with Aldar Education’s group-wide P&C strategies and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Main Duties:
- Act as the lead HR business partner for multiple campuses.
- Provide strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Guide school leaders on employee relations, performance enablement, and policy implementation.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law, ADEK regulations, and Aldar Education policies.
- Manage HR systems, data accuracy, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and Emiratization targets
Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with school leadership to design and implement people strategies aligned to school priorities.
- Act as a strategic advisor to Principals on workforce challenges, resourcing, and succession planning.
- Represent assigned campuses in cluster-wide and group-wide P&C initiatives and audits.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, including safer recruitment practices, interviews, and approvals.
- Ensure alignment with approved staffing and budget plans.
- Manage onboarding journeys: pre-arrival communication, ADEK pass and visa processes, induction, and system access.
- Liaise with HQ P&C, Public Relations, and Government Relations to ensure full regulatory and immigration compliance.
- Performance Enablement & Development
- Coordinate probation reviews and performance appraisal cycles in line with policy.
- Support Principals in identifying and addressing performance concerns.
- Update and align job descriptions with competency frameworks.
- Track and report on professional development and training activity.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Lead investigations and manage employee relations cases with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Advise on disciplinary matters, grievances, and conduct concerns.
- Escalate high-risk or legal issues to HQ P&C and Legal as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential ER records and trackers.
- HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations including time & attendance, leave, staff files, and system updates.
- Issue employment contracts, contract renewals, salary letters, NOCs, and experience letters.
- Process staff exits, final settlements, and clearance documentation in coordination with HQ Payroll and School Ops.
- Maintain accurate organization charts and staffing reports across campuses.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Monitor and report key HR KPIs including turnover, absence, Emiratization, recruitment activity, and compliance rates.
- Ensure HR systems reflect accurate headcount and staff movements.
- Provide ad hoc and scheduled reports to HQ P&C and SLTs.
- Engagement, Wellbeing & Inclusion
- Drive employee engagement through feedback channels, recognition initiatives, and inclusion programs.
- Partner with SLTs to address staff wellbeing and morale.
- Support implementation of Aldar Education’s diversity and inclusion agenda.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Related industry qualification, of graduate level, for the assigned functional area(s).
- Recognized HR Qualification and/or professional subscription (eg CIPD) desirable
- Minimum 5 years in HR or Recruitment in any industry;
- Education industry experience preferable
- Proven knowledge of UAE Labour Law and ADEK/KHDA compliance requirements.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft 360 suite, ERP (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics).
- Strong organizational and prioritisation skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressure.

- Support Principal to build/modify school budget, support HQ finance to close the period accurately and timely manner and review monthly MIS with Principal

- Ensure invoicing for all types of billing such as tuition fees, exam fees, trips, and other invoicing are completed accurately within the timeline
- Call parents on daily basis to follow up for payment collection
- Issue receipts on daily basis to ensure bank reconciliation accurate
- Provide bank statements with receipt numbers to Treasury Accountant to perform receipt clearing
- Manage petty cash and ensure all petty cash payments are made as per company policies and DOA
- Ensure revenue recognition and Accounts Receivable GL Accounts are accurate before closing the month
- Co-ordinate with HQ finance for the school annual budget and strategic plan preparations
- Support HQ finance staff for monthly closing activities accurately and timely manner
- Ensure to meet the timeline for daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements and adhoc reports
- Ensure school team is adhere with the policies and procedures and support them wherever required
- Support Principal wherever possible to ensure smooth finance operation

The Global Registry and Academic Support Directorate supports our students and staff across the full student life-cycle from enrolment to graduation.
The Directorate has responsibility as the definitive record-keeper of all student information programme and course details as well as leading services that help students settle and stay at the University. This includes providing professional help and advice through a range of support and wellbeing services.
The Directorate supports academic and professional services staff across the University in a number of areas including: academic institutional and student related Regulations and Policies and global national and institutional quality matters.
It delivers these services through five Divisions each managed by a Global Head and two Heads of Campus Registry and Student Services:

The Academic Operations Division is made up of four areas:

Purpose of Role
The Academic Support Administrator provides administrative support to the Schools for Learning & Teaching activities including record keeping logistical arrangements for quality processes (eg Academic Reviews) preparations for exams preparations for progression and exam boards and clerk for key Learning & Teaching related meetings. In addition the Academic Support Administrator provides prompt and professional service to a wide range of stakeholders including students parents staff and external entities. The post-holder investigates and resolves inquiries explains University rules policies and procedures and per regulations. The post-holder will work as part of the School Academic Support Administration unit under the direction of the Head of Registry and Student Services (Dubai Campus).
Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for Learning & Teaching activities within the Schools and the Registry and Academic Support Directorate.
- Provide professional customer service in all interactions.
- Communicate effectively by phone email and in-person in a professional and tactful manner; respond promptly and accurately.
- Provide accurate information and assistance to stakeholders on University rules policies and procedures as it relates to the Schools and Learning & Teaching Activities.
- Investigate and resolve inquiries. If outside the scope of the role connect the stakeholder with the relevant recipient/staff.
- Maintain accurate and complete School records related to Learning & Teaching activities.
- Support the examination process which may include examination paper preparation photocopying archiving scripts sending examination papers to external examiners liaising with Academic staff and coordinating exam adjustments for students of determination.
- Collate and layout coursework exam scripts and dissertations for External Examiners to view prior to exam boards or for accreditation/review panels.
- Archive coursework exam scripts and dissertations and arrange for coursework exam scripts and dissertations to be destroyed as outlined in the Universitys data management policies.
- Provide administrative and logistical arrangements for quality processes such as Academic Reviews and accreditation activities.
- Clerk Learning & Teaching related meetings such as progression and exam boards. This includes meeting arrangements preparing and circulating agendas necessary documentation and reports and minute-taking.
- Enter exam/coursework marks.
- Upload personal tutor details to Banner.
- Contribute to the development and drafting of procedural documents in line with School Campus and University policies.
- Update programme handbooks.
- Help with planning preparing and implementing various Registry and Academic Support events such as induction enrolment course registration and graduation.
- Review student enrolment and course registration; follow up to ensure students are enrolled and properly registered.
- Assist academic staff with attendance records and issue attendance warnings to students.
- Provide administrative support for School-level student appeals complaints and academic misconduct.
- Guide the Student Service Centre to process course transfers course change forms and other academic related changes to the student record in Banner.
- Send announcements to relevant student groups as instructed by academic staff and the Academic Operations Division.
- Maintain confidentiality of University and student records at all times.
- Prepare compile and maintain regular reports and records as well as complete ad hoc requests.
- Other duties as assigned to support the mandate and goals of the Registry and Academic Support Directorate and the wider University.
