QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
5-10 years experience in the analysis of business processes and interfaces including, but not limited to container terminal operations, terminal operating systems (Navis, Zodiac, etc), interpreting system documentation, data and/or business process modelling, and data flow/context diagramming.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Analysis and visualization (Power BI, SAP Business Intelligence reports or comparable BI applications).
Excellent Analytical Skills.
Proficiency with relational database concepts and report writing tools.
Understanding on Terminal Planning and Operations processes, standards and procedures. Understanding on Operational and Commercial KPIs and definitions.
Ability to work and communicate within multi-cultural and multi-national teams within DP World head office as well as DP World business units and regional offices around the world.

- Develop and fine-tune generative AI models, including RAG and agentic workflows, leveraging cutting-edge techniques like Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA), Parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT), and multimodal architectures
- Design and execute complex experimental frameworks, including A/B testing, to derive actionable insights and validate model performance with statistical inference
- Work closely with software and data engineers to implement version-controlled, containerized (Docker) solutions, and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines for efficient model deployment
- Define and enforce documentation standards, coding practices, and reproducibility protocols to ensure consistency and quality across all data science projects
- Monitor and evaluate model performance using Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and Large Language Models (LLMs) specific metrics (e.g., Bilingual Evaluation Understudy (BLEU), ROUGE), ensuring transparency, fairness, and continuous improvement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and terminologies
- Analyses complex banking products and services for facilitating decision-making
- Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
- Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance

- Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, with proven expertise in AI/ML, statistical modelling, and cloud-based deployments
- Strong background in banking processes, generative AI, and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering scalable, production-grade solutions in a regulated, data-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required
- Master’s degree or equivalent in AI/ML is preferred
