Key Accountabilities
Policies, Systems, Process and Procedures
- Follow all relevant Operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Operational Tasks
- Patrol the CCP/GSP facilities as per directions, operate the CCR centum and telemetry system and observe the producers, injectors CCP/GSP operation while logging production data and CCP/GSP readings and preparing log sheets for standard reports of control data, making recommendations of required repairs needed on plant equipment.
- Ensure the proper functioning and synchronization of allied plants and equipment such as test separators, pumps, valves etc. Observes operating parameters (flow, level, pressure, temperature etc.) and carry out the necessary adjustments as required.
- Check the operating conditions of the wellheads, the various components of the Christmas trees and the associated equipment to ensure that they are functioning properly, the controls are set correctly, and the control devices are in good condition.
- Make routine checks on process equipment and units to ensure that they are functioning properly and carry out routine maintenance, such as lubrication and minor repairs. Check units and equipment on the Well Head Platform regularly to ensure that routine maintenance is carried out as per schedule.
- Clean all areas on a regular basis to ensure that debris is disposed of in a timely manner and health and safety risks are minimized.
Quality, Health, Safety a& Environment
- Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety/ the safety of others is not jeopardized, and a certain minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.
- Perform specific HSE Management Systems Programme activities assigned to the operator by his supervisor.
- Carry out the duties and responsibilities in accordance with the company's procedures when emergency situations occur while ensuring adherence to fire and safety standards.
- Comply with all safety and fire regulations which include the use of protective clothing and equipment and ensures that personnel working in the Offshore Complex areas comply with safety procedures, maintaining the area in a clean and hazard free condition.
Data and record keeping
- Prepare a periodic log sheet on assigned shift by entering such operating data as temperatures, pressures, production and flow rates and recording operating malfunctions and the condition of equipment to fulfill information requirements while checking log sheet to ensure that all figures are properly recorded at correct times, and that all show normal and stable conditions.
- Complete chards of visits and records or checks that all data is correctly and regularly recorded while reporting serious operation deviations to Supervisor to initiate corrective action as directed.
Reports
- Prepare and submit daily work report to operation supervisor daily for authorization to keep management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision making.
- Ensure timely logging of all production activities as per set standards to facilitate availability of historical data for future referencing purposes.
