Overview
PIPECARE Group is looking for an experienced Assembly Technician to troubleshoot and repair pigs, control panels, wiring, tools and machine components as required, supporting test runs and other related activities.
Key Responsibilities- Read drawings
- Assemble mechanical parts as per drawings; disassemble and reassemble tools, machines and equipment to perform required inspections, maintenance, repairs, overhauls and related activities
- Determine project plans at the beginning of jobs
- Determine the best fabrication solutions
- Ensure shift changes occur smoothly with minimal interruption to equipment uptime
- Communicate the safety program and instructions to the shop floor
- Read and interpret machine operation and maintenance manuals
- Troubleshoot and repair pigs, control panels, wiring, tools and machine components to support test runs and related activities
- Aim to achieve monthly production goals while maintaining an acceptable attendance-to-production ratio
- Maintain housekeeping of workspace and production; keep a clean and safe environment that minimizes risk to employees and equipment
- Manage activities of shop employees, including vacation scheduling, shift scheduling and time and attendance reporting
- Execute other tasks as requested by Production Manager or Supervisor within the assigned role
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in the same field, preferably oil & gas industry
- Basic reading, listening, speaking and problem-solving skills
- Manual dexterity, physical strength and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Good color discernment and color vision
- Good computer skills and knowledge of manufacturing reporting software
- Industry-related engine and compressor factory training and/or certification required
- Good social skills with the ability to communicate clearly
- Good written and verbal communication skills (in English - desirable)
- Creative, critical and curious
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Mobility: Ability to walk and climb to perform duties in refinery/plant environments and access elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively
- Focus and multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
- Safety Equipment: Ability to wear safety equipment as required for personal protection
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Ability to travel to off-site locations when necessary, with or without reasonable accommodations

Inspection Technologies- Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss, especially circumferentially oriented
- Transverse Field Inspection (TFI): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss, primarily axially oriented
- Ultrasound (UT): Detects and sizes general and other metal loss anomalies with high depth sizing accuracy
- Ultrasonic Crack Detection: Detects and sizes cracks and colonies of cracks
- Caliper (Geometry): Detects and sizes deviations in the ideal circular shape of a pipeline (dents, ovalities, wrinkles, etc.)

Job Description
As an AMO Technician -Mechanic you will test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment. Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Performing maintenance and repairs of ESP equipment in accordance with operating specifications.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining refurbishing equipment routinely
- Conducting mechanical inspections.
- Using moderately complex diagnostic equipment.
- Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
- Configuring test stations and systems.
- Facilitating third-party repair of equipment when required.
- Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Maintaining records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs; scheduling maintenance of equipment.
- Performing inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE&Q policies and procedures.
- Have Highschool Diploma, College Degree or Engineering Degree is an advantage.
- Have previous experience in a mechanical workshop environment.
- Hydraulic engine and pump experience preferred.
- Be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
- Have knowledge on hydraulic and electrical circuits and ability to troubleshoot faults.
- Basic measurement instrument and handtools knowledge.
- Have advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.
- Have advanced computer skills.

As Field Electronic Technician you will troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.
As a Field Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Tests and evaluates the performance, and if required, repairs oil purpose electronic and instrumentation equipment test equipment.
- Reviews the accuracy of procedures for the assembly/disassembly and checkout of instrumentation. Configures electronic sensors and devices.
- Troubleshooting data acquisition and control systems.
- Assists with installation and configuration of instrumentation systems, sensors and accessories.
- Have a Bachelor's degree or a Technical diploma or Associates degree in Electronic, Mechatronic OrInstrumentation
- Have 1-2 experience in maintenance of electronic or instrumentation equipment is preferred
- Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques
- Have knowledge in the use of oscilloscopes
- Have knowledge of multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
- Have the ability to read, interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
