About the roleAs an Associate Product Manager, you will lead the development and enhancement of our accounting software integrations. Working under the supervision of the Product Manager Business Liabilities the role contributes to commercialization process optimization and product enhancement aligned with BBDs strategic goals.
The incumbent supports the management of Liabilities product programs (PPG) and assists in maintaining updated product and procedure manuals. This includes product plan design and end-to-end ownership of all aspects of the product performance. This also includes planning for business liabilities fees and revenue growth through assessment of potential risks involved in the BBD segment pricing strategy and profitability targets.
This will require complete integrity of the process with proactive identification and closure of process gaps. Contributes to product planning design and performance tracking in coordination with the Liabilities Product Manager.

- Revenue: BBD revenues generated from Liabilities and cash management products.
- Commercialization: Define business opportunities and provide support on products deliverables.
- Product knowledge:Lead strategic planning and execution of Business Liabilities product initiatives.
Key Accountabilities of the role
Product Management & Commercialization
- Drive product development Fees strategies and market segmentation.
- Support in defining product programs pricing policies and process enhancements.
- Identify any revenue leakages and escalate for immediate rectification.
- Manage cross-functional coordination with Legal Sharia Compliance Operations and Marketing.
- Oversee product documentation training materials and stakeholder communication.
- Generate and analyze MIS reports on product performance customer behavior and fee income.
- Lead product commercialization efforts and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Support training and enablement initiatives for front-line teams.
- Contribute to market research and competitor benchmarking to identify product improvement opportunities.
- Provide operational support for the product team and customer service units.
- Perform market scan for competitive pricing policies and tariff structure to maximize product profitability.
- Developing reviewing and keeping up-to-date with marketing collateral and transaction documentation.
- Promotion of liabilities products in coordination with the Marketing team to create internal and external marketing materials.
- Support the development and execution of campaigns in collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Liaise with stakeholders to sign off official documents of assigned products and services.
- Support the development of new policies procedures and process flow with the coordination of Sharia Legal ITD ICD CRM etc.
- Monitor portfolio performance and key KPIs for BBD.
Market research and competitor intelligence
- Analyze markets and products to identify business opportunities and generate new business ideas within the cash and digital domain in SME banking.
- Performing data analysis to generate business insights to support decisions on products cross-sell and value proposition enhancement.
Training and sales support
- Create training materials of BBD products to equip front-liners with required knowledge.
- Address any sales enquiries/complaints generated from front-liners.
- Enhance internal and external forms for account opening & service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or related field.
- Good understanding of product development cash management and delivery channels.
- Deep understanding of SME banking practices regulations and risks and industry standards.
- Strong communication analytical interaction and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Capable of preparing reports business correspondence and manuals.
- Analyze and understand business risks benefits and outcomes with clear documentation of the same.
