The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in the College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for an adjunct teaching opportunity commencing in Fall Semester 2025 in the area of computer science and engineering. Experience in the American model of higher education is highly desirable.

The applicant is required to have a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related field and show evidence of a significant teaching portfolio. The candidate is expected to teach one to two courses per semester at the AUS campus in Sharjah. Courses are typically offered during the day, two or three days a week.

The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Science in Computer Engineering.

Location: AUS is located in the Emirate of Sharjah (about 15 km from Dubai). AUS is an independent, not-for-profit, coeducational university, serving some 5,200 students.

Accreditation: AUS is licensed and its programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Affairs Division in the United Arab Emirates. AUS has been accredited in the United States of America by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education since June 2004. The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering offered by the College of Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Job Description

The College of Law at UAE University is seeking to appoint a faculty member in the field of Civil Law based on the following criteria:

• Academic Qualifications: The applicant must hold a PhD in Civil Law or an equivalent degree from a recognized and reputable university.

Faculty Position in Computer Science
