Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment. Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring. Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, etc. Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/conferencing equipment, devices, and systems. Oversee the set-up of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms. Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational, repair or clean equipment when necessary. Label any broken equipment and communicate problems to manager/supervisor. Tape down and dress all loose wire and cable. Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order. Communicate any additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor. Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment, up-sell different AV services, and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals. Working as part of the Audio Department, the Senior Audio Engineer will assist the Audio Operations Manager in the delivery of quality Audio solutions in the Special Events, Touring Music and Corporate markets we operate in. Developing and delivering solution in exciting and challenging environments and against tight deadlines, our Audio team is driven to ensure quality is a priority and that excellence is achieved in all aspects of delivery.
Qualifications- Minimum 5+ year’s previous experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the industry.
- Experience working and operating on large scale events in the Special Events, touring music and corporate environments.
- Computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications, CAD and/or Vectorworks is desirable.
- Experience with Networking, Dante, AVB and fiber protocols and topology.
- Experience in FOH, Monitor, Systems, RF and Stage roles is essential.
- Knowledge of L’ Acoustics speaker systems, design and software, Digico, Midas, Avid consoles, Shure and Sennheiser products is desirable.
- A basic knowledge of recording systems and connectivity is desirable.
