Purpose of Work:

The purpose of the Automation Engineer role at Syncrow is to revolutionize the integration and interaction of IoT technology within home automation systems, enhancing the quality of life for clients through innovative and efficient solutions. Scope of Work:

• Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring the IoT platform meets market needs and company goals.

• Innovate and iterate on product features based on user feedback and market analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the technical site inspection, understand the client’s needs in terms of home automation devices, scenarios, scenes, and verify any site constraints.

• Handle the design, configuration, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of smart home wireless systems like Zigbee, and Wi-Fi including all home automation applications lighting, curtains, HVAC, AV, alarm, and security.

• Conduct on-site or off-site troubleshooting in case of any failures.

• Innovate control solutions to serve unique clients’ requirements.

• Follow frequent training handled by suppliers as induction about devices and programming.

• Prepare automation layouts and wiring diagrams.

• Ensure adherence to current company health and safety policies as well as all company procedures and services through timely communications. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and to iterate on product features and strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in home automation. Good understanding of the local market and home automation products available.

• Has a proven successful track record in consumer/residential home automation projects completed

• Experience in smart home wireless solutions is a plus.

Skills:

• Ability to learn and understand different programming tools from different smart home international suppliers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Valid UAE Driving license.
