Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Automation Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead our digital engineering initiatives, focusing on Building Information Modeling (BIM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and automation processes to drive efficiency and innovation in our projects.
- Lead and manage a team of automation specialists across multiple engineering centers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Serve as the primary interface with the engineering teams on all technical matters.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
- Proven experience in drafting and reviewing software requirements specification documentation.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in digital engineering, with a strong focus on BIM and GIS applications
- 3+ years of experience in automation and process improvement within the construction or infrastructure industry
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading technical teams
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) and GIS platforms (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS)
- Strong understanding of automation technologies and programming languages relevant to digital engineering
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
