The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising teams, managing workload, and ensuring timely job completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign work orders based on technician skillsets and workload.
• Monitor technician productivity and ensure accurate time tracking.
• Verify proper use of tools and equipment.

Technical Oversight:

• Confirm repair orders are clear and align with customer requests and warranty policies.
• Assess and resolve repeat repairs.
• Support technicians with troubleshooting and ensure compliance with manufacturer procedures.

Communication & Workflow:

• Act as a liaison between technicians and service advisors.
• Translate customer concerns into actionable instructions.

Quality Control & Safety:

• Conduct quality checks or ensure QC processes are followed.
• Promote safe working practices and protect customer property.

Customer Interaction & Support:

• Assist service advisors with diagnostics or customer handovers.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive/Mechanical discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years as a qualified automotive technician.
• Certifications: Automotive Technical Certification is required.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Fluent in verbal and written communication.
• Computer literate – MS Office, workshop systems.

• Oversee and ensure the highest quality of repair and maintenance work to enhance customer satisfaction and minimize repeat jobs, thereby improving overall workshop efficiency.
• Identify training needs and oversee the development of workshop staff to maintain technical competencies and improve performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness across the workshop floor.
• Ensure technicians wear clean, specified uniforms and adhere to established disciplinary standards.
• Monitor the proper functioning of workshop equipment.
• Ensure correct usage of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
• Keep the workshop floor clear of hazards such as oil spills, loose parts, and other potential safety risks.
• Plan and distribute work efficiently, assigning tasks based on technicians’ skill levels to maximize productivity.
• Ensure accurate time-clocking and maintain comprehensive job cards with detailed records of all operations carried out on vehicles

• 2–3 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor in an automotive dealership.
• Proven ability to allocate tasks based on technician capabilities and job requirements.

• Degree or diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a technical or supervisory role within a dealership workshop; experience in EV workshops is a plus.
• Strong supervisory and technical skills, computer proficiency (especially in Excel), and effective communication abilities.
• A valid UAE driving license
