Job Description

The role of an AV Programmer involves designing and implementing complex audio, video, and control systems standards across global offices. This includes developing and implementing wiring and configuration standards for all AV systems, aligned with best practices.

As an AV Programmer, you will consult on new and existing AV projects and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders. You will also perform routine administration of AV equipment and project site setups, troubleshoot, test, correct, and commission Crestron programming systems.

Maintaining the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of work related to the royal family is also a key responsibility. You will research, analyse, and recommend system improvements and enhancements for AV infrastructure, as well as perform networking troubleshooting including diagnosing static and dynamic IPs.

Identifying defective or failed equipment and taking full ownership through to resolution is also part of the role.

Requirements
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.

The Audio-Visual Technician supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV and IT systems, ensuring all studio and broadcast equipment operates efficiently and according to technical plans.

Responsibilities:
  1. Install various AV and IT equipment in the new studios according to the plan or diagram provided by the Broadcast Engineer.
  2. Assemble professional video cameras, including lens, onboard monitor, and power supplies.
