- The Aviation Security Manager will ensure safety, quality, security, and compliance within their area of responsibility.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.

Role Purpose
Regularly conduct quality control activities related to international & national standards and regulations of Aviation Security, and assist the Head of Aviation Security Section in ensuring regulatory compliance of the Dubai Airports, airlines, and entities with aviation related activities in the emirate of Dubai. Supervise aviation security officers in the performance of their tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection and Audits: Regularly conducts quality control activities, on all entities dealing with aviation security, such as (Dubai Airports, Airlines and any entities with aviation related activities in the emirate of Dubai) to ensure their compliance with international, national and local standards & regulations related to aviation security.
Policy-making and regulation: Review and amend the section processes and procedures, also provide guidance and support to Head of aviation security section on all policies and standards issues related to aviation security.
Reporting: Review and produce necessary aviation security reports on a monthly basis to the Head of Aviation Security.
Aviation Security NOCs: Review and approve online requests associated with the issuance of NOC for any Entities with Aviation related activities.
Security Programmes: Review the related security programme of Dubai International Airport (DXB), Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), Aircraft Operator Security Programmes, Airport Tenants Security Programmes and the security programme of any entities with aviation related activities. And recommend the required amendments.
Aviation Security Investigations: Investigates serious and critical incidents and operational issues associated with Aviation Security and prepare the required reports for the Head of Aviation Security Section.
Liaising with stakeholders: liaise with Dubai Airports, Aircraft Operators and other local and federal authorities such as GCAA, Dubai Police, to raise any concerns related to aviation security and suggest corrective action as necessary.
Team management: Provide guidance, advice, and support to Aviation Security Officers in the performance of their tasks.
Records management: Maintains records of all Aviation Security applications and all related correspondence.
Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
