This role will see you working on a variety of safety-related tasks, including conducting inspections and implementing health and safety plans. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and contractors.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor gas inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures that meet industry standards.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure effective implementation of health and safety plans.

• Nebosh General Certificate or equivalent degree/diploma in a related field.

Ensure client safety requirements are met and liaise with the safety manager and contractors for effective HSE management.

Monitor contractors' adherence to safety measures on-site, ensuring compliance with legal and client requirements.

Review safety-related documents such as Site Safety Plans, Emergency Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Analyses, and conduct regular HSE inspections.

Organize monthly safety meetings, review incident reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent accidents and improve safety practices.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering or occupational health and safety

Minimum 8 years experience

Prior HSE experience in construction supervision of roads, bridges, underpass, or infrastructure projects in UAE

Health and Safety education, certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, Safety Diploma, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.

Working knowledge of Dubai Municipality Code of Construction safety Practice, Technical Guidelines, RTA Circulars and Work Zone Traffic Management Manual.

We are seeking an experienced Safety Inspector to support HSE compliance on major infrastructure projects. The role involves monitoring on-site safety practices, ensuring adherence to corporate and regulatory standards, conducting inspections, and assisting in implementing safety programs to minimize risks and maintain a safe work environment.

Monitor and inspect on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, corporate HSE policies, and client requirements.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across construction sites.

Review and verify safety-related documentation, including Site Safety Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Emergency Plans.

Identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and conditions, and report findings with recommendations for corrective actions.

Assist in organizing safety meetings and toolbox talks for project teams and contractors.

Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and safety observations.

Ensure contractors and site personnel follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Support the preparation of incident reports and follow-up on corrective measures.

Promote a culture of safety among all on-site personnel.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.

Minimum 7 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in roads, bridges, or infrastructure projects.

3. Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
4. A valid GCAA Air-law exam certificate is required for foreign license holders.
5. Level 4 or above ELP certification is necessary.
6. A 1st Class Medical certificate from ICAO CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL is also required.
