Overview

The aircraft electrical systems technician performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft electrical systems. The technician carries out directives from the Supervisor to support the maintenance team and unit operations.

The responsibilities include:

1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems following technical publications, regulations, and company policies. Ensure aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
2. Complete all forms, records, and documents related to aircraft maintenance activities, complying with DA PAM , technical publications, regulations, and policies.
3. Share knowledge and provide advice, support, and on-the-job training to trainees, enabling them to develop full aircraft electrical repair capabilities.
4. Carry out tasks assigned by the Supervisor to support the maintenance team and operations.

Overview

Key responsibilities include:

1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems according to technical publications, regulations, and company policies. Ensure aircraft are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.

Aviation Maintenance Specialist

Perform aircraft avionics maintenance and repair tasks under close supervision to ensure continuity of work.

• Follow daily operations related to the job to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of avionics systems, components, and equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble parts according to standard procedures and report any malfunctions.
• Adjust radio frequencies by signaling ground stations and turning setscrews.
• Assist in checking components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation.
• Maintain basic launch and recovery equipment.
• Install and maintain visual landing aids as instructed.
• Maintain logs of aircraft launches, recoveries, and equipment maintenance.
• Identify maintenance and troubleshooting needs for avionics parts during aircraft recovery.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and instructions for controlled and consistent work.

This is a challenging role that requires the right candidate to join our team as an Aircraft Avionics Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will have a solid background in Avionics maintenance and a strong understanding of technical procedures.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards and in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.

• You will review task cards and prepare for assigned work, conducting thorough inspections to identify any defects or damage.
• Additionally, you will perform scheduled aircraft maintenance tasks, including repairs, component replacements, and tests.
• It is essential that you maintain safe working practices and adhere to housekeeping standards at all times.
• Your excellent customer service skills will enable you to provide internal support to your team and external support to other departments involved in managing scheduled maintenance checks.
