As a BIM Manager, you will lead the implementation and management of BIM technologies and processes across various architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Strategy & Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies and processes for architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Establish workflows and ensure BIM standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- BIM Software Management: Manage and maintain BIM software tools (such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360) ensuring they are used effectively across the project team.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure smooth integration of BIM models, promoting a collaborative environment.

- Project Management: Oversee BIM-related project workflows, schedules, and resources. Monitor project timelines and ensure that BIM deliverables are provided on time and within budget.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and project managers to ensure that the BIM process meets their expectations and project needs.
- Document Control & Reporting: Generate regular reports on BIM progress, clash detection results, and other related project documentation. Assist with the preparation of project documentation and presentations as required.
- Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging BIM technologies and trends. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve project efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in BIM management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within an architectural or AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) firm.
- Extensive knowledge of BIM tools and software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Dynamo, and AutoCAD .
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows across all project phases (design, construction, and operation).
- Experience in creating and enforcing BIM standards and protocols.
- Familiarity with BIM applications for project coordination, clash detection, and model integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in BIM Management or related BIM qualifications.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools and digital project management software (e.g., BIM 360, Procore).
- Experience in coordinating large-scale projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

The BIM Manager’s role is to understand and communicate how BIM will affect project workflows, deliverables, and project management throughout KZC. The primary responsibility is to manage and coordinate BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement on all related BIM projects, files, and models, for both our Commercial and Industrial groups. This will include the development of a work plan/roadmap for the development, implementation, and quality assurance checks needed for full BIM integration with KZC projects. Also involved in reviewing and compiling documentation for the design of internal spaces, including demolition, structural alterations if needed, furnishings, fixtures and fittings, lighting, and general design documents.
The BIM Manager prepares and executes all documentation and drawings overseeing these aspects of the project from beginning to end. Review BEP and provide comments enhancing the process. Ensures successful project completion of BIM deliverables that are timely and accurate and drive operational efficiency. Collaborate and coordinate with other consultants’ BIM requirements.
Must successfully deliver projects from the Concept to the Completion stage. Comprehensive experience in Hospitality projects. Experienced in implementing interiors and working details from LOD 100 – LOD 400.
The BIM Manager will plan and organize the design drawings for the project’s interiors. Projects may include:
- hospitality (hotels and F&B)
- private residences and residential developments

Working with the BD team to ensure compliance with the BIM/REVIT RFP requirements and add any inclusions/exclusions related to the ID scope.
Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual BIM reports/presentations for management overview.
Assess: Evaluate the firm’s current workflow, strategies, budgets, projects, staffing, etc. for any upcoming BIM projects part of BD or part of projects.
Plan: Create an implementation plan (identify team members, what the project is, what the goals are, etc.).
Prepare and lead deployment strategies for the BIM implementation effort and resource schedules and monitor the performance of internal/external BIM teams. Includes preparing weekly schedules/workflow, BIM/Revit forecasting for existing and upcoming projects minimum of up to 6 months, and reviewing them for compliance.
Solve: Execute the plan, install the software, get templates created, get training, etc.
Prepare, review, and endorse any required external services (including invoicing); prepare contracts for any parties involved in BIM, including renewal terms; monitor their performance and provide monthly reports.
Provide technical orientation/onboarding induction to new hires regarding the BIM process/standards/BIM tools and workflows.
Review and assess BIM staff performance and prepare review letters, including probationary reviews of the BIM team.
Review the existing BIM standard to prepare amendments as necessary and prepare the SOP for workflow.
Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops for BIM, bringing back best practices and disseminating the information to appropriate teams.
Conduct continuing education on BIM processes and its new technologies.
Follow through the recruitment process for any BIM hirings and conduct interviews as necessary.

Drives the implementation of digital information plans and strategies and reports these to the management.

- Define and oversee workflows, processes, and documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality BIM deliverables across all disciplines.
- Lead the integration of sustainability frameworks into BIM strategies, ensuring alignment with LEED, BREEAM, or other green building standards where applicable.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
- Collaborate with architectural, structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), civil, and IT/telecom teams to integrate models and workflows.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM-related questions, resolving cross-team issues and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure alignment with overall BIM objectives and data security protocols, especially critical in data center environments.
- Oversee the development, review, and validation of BIM models to detect clashes and resolve conflicts before construction, minimizing costly on-site rework.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits on BIM data to maintain model integrity and accuracy.
- Manage cloud-based BIM tools (e.g., BIM 360) to ensure data consistency and streamlined version control.
Software & Technology Leadership
- Manage the company’s BIM software toolkit—such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Solibri Model Checker—to support efficient design, documentation, and collaboration.
- Evaluate emerging BIM technologies (e.g., Dynamo, Python scripting, digital twins) and recommend new solutions that align with the company’s sustainability and AI-driven objectives.
- Lead the adoption of automation tools to enhance productivity and reduce manual data entry.
Team Leadership & Training
- Mentor and guide an international BIM team, delivering ongoing training sessions and workshops to upskill internal staff and ensure best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM team and across the organization.
- Set KPIs for team performance, regularly reviewing progress against project milestones and organizational goals.
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to industry standards such as ISO 19650, local code requirements, and data security regulations essential for data center facilities.
- Advocate for and implement standardized templates, libraries, and data structures across projects to maintain uniformity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with project managers to develop project-specific BIM guidelines that address unique requirements of AI-driven, sustainable data centers.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify project risks associated with BIM data management, recommending mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present progress reports and findings to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and potential improvements.
- Work closely with sustainability experts to ensure the data center’s environmental impact is minimized through advanced modeling and simulation techniques.
- Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience : 8+ years in BIM management roles, with at least 3 years managing large-scale, complex projects; data center or mission-critical facility experience is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Solibri Model Checker. Familiarity with Dynamo or Python scripting for Revit is highly beneficial.
- Soft Skills : Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Certifications : Autodesk Certified Professional or similar BIM-related certifications are advantageous. Accreditation in sustainability frameworks (LEED AP, BREEAM Assessor) is a plus.

What You''ll Be Doing- Provide front line project specific support to design teams
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of capacity and capability assessments for task teams (model production)
- Develop comprehensive training plans that cater to different learning styles and needs
- Provide support in using CDE systems like ProjectWise and ACC
- Create detailed training manuals and tutorial videos for software such as Civil 3D and Revit
- Create landscape BIM models and drawings in Revit/Civil 3D to meet client requirements from LOD 100 to LOD 350
- Experience in clash detection using Navisworks or Revizto
- Manage workflows and processes in CAD and BIM
- Create new templates based on program/project requirements (authoring, tracking, reporting, etc.)
- Direct production staff on assignments and coordinate resources across single or multiple disciplines
- Supervise model detailing to ensure clarity and consistency throughout plans
- Review models for compliance with digital production usages and ensure quality of models
- Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries; supervise catalogue development (2D symbolology, families, parametric parts, sub-assemblies, etc.)
- Utilize technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies
- Familiarize with standards and codes such as ISO 19650
- Develop baseline schedules for teams at the start of each task and track progress against the baseline
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Architecture/Landscape/Urban Planning/Urban Design from an accredited institution
- Minimum 10+ years of demonstrable BIM/CAD design production experience and prior role as BIM Coordinator or Sr. BIM Specialist, coordinating multidisciplinary landscape teams
- In-depth knowledge of Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) and BIM/CAD processes
- Experience with BIM/CAD instruction and training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred automation skills (Revit API, Dynamo, AutoCAD LISP, Macros, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of CDE project setups, ISO BIM workflows, and international BIM/CAD standards (ISO 19650)
