**Job Description**
AECOM are seeking a highly skilled Structures BIM Lead to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead the structural BIM of complex projects.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure the model is built in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project standards.
+ Lead and manage the implementation of BIM processes across project stages, from concept to handover.
+ Generate and manage 2D deliverables from the BIM model, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
+ Manage and oversee the development and maintenance of the discipline-specific BIM model.
+ Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models, ensuring timely updates and clash-free deliverables.
+ Ensure model health, compliance, and quality by conducting regular audits and reviews.
+ Ensures accuracy and quality of discipline BIM model information, presentation, and coordination
+ Coordinate internally with the discipline's design team to ensure accurate representation of design intent in the model.
+ Ensure drawings are extracted with correct scale, view templates, and title blocks per company/project standards.
+ Support sheet creation, annotation workflows, and print reviews before submissions.
+ Use BIM quality tools (e.g., Revit Warnings, Model Checker) to maintain quality.
+ support the development and implementation of automation tools and computational design techniques
**Qualifications**
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum 6-8 years of experience in digital development and BIM best practice.
+ Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering
+ Familiarity with interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and tools
+ Project set-up experience including the CDE, design models.
+ Stay updated with the latest digital tools and technologies relevant to building services and incorporate them into the project's practices & workflows.
+ General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas. Highest non-supervisory position.
+ May oversee work of junior-level technicians. Viewed as competent in all areas.
+ BIM Execution Plan, LOD, and other BIM related documents.
+ Perform model checks; ensure compliance with general and project specific BIM standards are met on all BIM projects.
+ Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements.
+ Good understanding of Revit API, Dynamo., Grasshopper, Rhino common API, parametric modelling.
