**Job Description**
AECOM are seeking a highly skilled Structures BIM Lead to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead the structural BIM of complex projects.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure the model is built in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project standards.
+ Lead and manage the implementation of BIM processes across project stages, from concept to handover.
+ Generate and manage 2D deliverables from the BIM model, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
+ Manage and oversee the development and maintenance of the discipline-specific BIM model.
+ Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models, ensuring timely updates and clash-free deliverables.
+ Ensure model health, compliance, and quality by conducting regular audits and reviews.
+ Ensures accuracy and quality of discipline BIM model information, presentation, and coordination
+ Coordinate internally with the discipline's design team to ensure accurate representation of design intent in the model.
+ Ensure drawings are extracted with correct scale, view templates, and title blocks per company/project standards.
+ Support sheet creation, annotation workflows, and print reviews before submissions.
+ Use BIM quality tools (e.g., Revit Warnings, Model Checker) to maintain quality.

+ Minimum 6-8 years of experience in digital development and BIM best practice.
+ Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering
+ Familiarity with interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and tools
+ Project set-up experience including the CDE, design models.
+ Stay updated with the latest digital tools and technologies relevant to building services and incorporate them into the project's practices & workflows.
+ General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas. Highest non-supervisory position.
+ May oversee work of junior-level technicians. Viewed as competent in all areas.
+ BIM Execution Plan, LOD, and other BIM related documents.
+ Perform model checks; ensure compliance with general and project specific BIM standards are met on all BIM projects.
+ Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements.
+ Good understanding of Revit API, Dynamo., Grasshopper, Rhino common API, parametric modelling.

**Job Description**
AECOM are currently seeking experienced BIM Lead - Public Health, to be based in our Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. The BIM Lead will work as part of the wider Building Engineering practice and support the Mechanical engineering team by leading plans and developing the discipline BIM execution including Model and Drawing production in accordance with BIM Execution Plan and BIM standards compliance, project specifications and established practices.
**Responsibilities:**
+ BIM Model and Drawing co-ordination within MEP and across Disciplines.
+ Identifies incremental improvements to existing procedures or processes that increase efficiency or work quality.
+ Participate in evaluating advanced technologies/tools that can improve efficiency and optimize design workflows
+ Conduct clash detection and resolve issues between MEP systems and other disciplines using tools like Navisworks, Revizto.
+ Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others.
+ Performs technical quality reviews including documentation in project record in accordance with policies and procedures.
+ Participates in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain / defend work, etc.
+ Creation of Templates, High Level BIM Families, Shared Parameters, Scheduling and BIM Modelling in general.
+ Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements.
+ Set up, maintenance, support and troubleshooting BIM projects.
+ May manage more junior staff members coordinating activities of a small team.
+ Maintaining liaison with design groups.
+ Under some supervision, may complete assignments to high complexity.
+ Familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.
**Qualifications**
+ A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
+ A minimum of 10 years experience is required for the role, with experience in building projects.

As a BIM Lead, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating BIM processes, ensuring technical excellence, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
+ Manage and coordinate the overall BIM Implementation within the Building Services Discipline team and support the multidisciplinary project delivery.
+ Ensuring successful Client liaison by acting as a Point of Contact within the Building Services Team to analyze the BIM-related client requirements and implement the BIM Execution Plan for BIM deliverables production and BIM process management throughout the project lifecycle in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary projects BIM Lead.
+ Act as a key role contributor in the organization's BIM advancement and upgrade plan within the Building Services Team
+ Lead the implementation of the BIM Standards, Modelling workflow & methodologies during the design lifecycle.
+ Take responsibility for planning Building Services discipline project BIM deliverables and managing their effective delivery in accordance with the project plan and BIM Execution Plan.
+ Leading and/or assisting in the creation of BIM deliverables, Clash Detection Processes, and Reports, BIM Quality Control Plans, and BIM Design Review Procedures.
+ Configure and maintain the project Common Data Environment to enable the effective management of engineering design deliverables.
+ Managing the projects BIM Coordinator(s) and BIM / CAD technicians including input to Quality Assurance and Quality Control of models and drawings and other related BIM deliverables.

+ Manage the Spatial Design Coordination process within the Building Services team and ensure that clash avoidance, detection, analysis, and mitigation are well reported.

+ Identify and detect in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary projects BIM Lead any potential opportunity/risk for the Project or the Team.

+ Reporting the project's Building Services delivery BIM status to the Project Management team covering but not limited to: BIM Issue tracking, Audit Reports from Native BIM solutions, Clash Analysis status, progress, and completed tasks against upcoming projects submissions.
+ Assist in the upskilling of existing CAD/BIM, Engineering & Project Management staff.
+ Support the assessment and evaluation of new resources as part of the Building Services team expansion plan.
+ Lead the resource management and tasks assignment within the BIM Authoring and Coordination Team
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated software functionality issues

+ Bachelor's degree in MEPF Engineering or equivalent with a proven track record of successfully undertaking BIM responsibilities within the Building Services design delivery team.
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience and background in Design and BIM Management (inclusive but not limited to BIM modeling, Coordination, collaboration, data management, Quality Assurance, and Control) on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects within the Middle East region.
+ Mandatory experience and proven track record of successful Client liaison and supply chain management.
+ Outstanding Communication and presentation skills
+ Knowledge and proven awareness about standard-compliant BIM best practices.
+ Proven ability and leadership skills to lead, monitor and support a team of BIM Coordinators and BIM Modelers as well as supporting Building Services design team members already in use of the BIM authoring and coordination solutions.
+ Mandatory proficiency and Hands-on on Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D BIM authoring tools.
+ Mandatory proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
+ Mandatory proficiency in BIM360/ACC Environment.
+ Proficiency in Dynamo scripting tools with a background in automation of BIM Authoring and interoperability with Building Services design tools would be of advantage.
+ Preferable candidates should demonstrate proficiency and good command/knowledge of Building Services design analysis tools.
+ Extensive knowledge of BS 8536, PAS 1192, and ISO 19650.
+ Strong knowledge of COBie implementation/delivery and 4D to 7D deliverables at LOD 350.
+ Proficiency in MS SharePoint and ACONEX platforms would be an added value
+ Experience working in a multi-national working environment within Project Developer, PMC, or Lead Consultant's team would be beneficial.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
