Key Responsibilities
Support the set up , delivery and breakdown of seamless broadcasts.
Set up, configure, operate, and maintain a variety of HD/UHD video, audio, and communication equipment.
Troubleshoot broadcasting equipment issues and communicate with manufacturers for resolutions.
Work with radio frequency equipment and antenna systems.
Provide technical support on-site during projects and live events.
Maintain and upgrade equipment software to meet industry standards .
Conduct technical documentation, workflow design, and reporting .
Support and assist mentor engineer colleagues and external integrators on projects.
Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met.
What We’re Looking For:5+ years’ experience in broadcast television, preferably in Outside Broadcast (OB) .
Experience with routers, switchers, tally systems, multiviewers, cameras, lenses, and CCUs .
Knowledge of EVS equipment (LSM, X-File, X-Hub, IP Director).
Strong understanding of radio, television transmission, and IT networking .
Familiarity with Cisco Switches & IP-based broadcast technology (preferred).
Ability to work flexible hours, travel , and adapt to fast-paced environments.

As a Broadcast Audio Engineer at NEP Middle East, you will be responsible for the setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of professional audio systems for live broadcasts and events. You will work closely with production teams to deliver exceptional sound quality, manage complex signal routing, and ensure all audio elements are captured, mixed, and delivered to the highest broadcast standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate broadcast audio consoles, communication systems (intercom/IFB), and related signal processing gear for live productions.
- Manage the full audio workflow from microphones and field inputs to the final mix and transmission.
- Coordinate with production teams to understand and deliver on audio requirements for each event.
- Ensure optimal audio levels, clarity, and mix balance across multiple sources including dialogue, music, effects, and crowd mics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with audio signals, RF interference, and networked audio systems in real time.
- Configure and maintain Dante, MADI, AES, and analog audio networks and devices.
- Monitor and maintain intercom systems across production and technical teams.
- Perform pre-show checks and live mixing during broadcasts, with awareness of timing, cues, and content needs.
- Conduct post-event equipment checks, maintenance, and inventory updates.
- Collaborate with vision, EVS, and engineering teams for seamless technical integration.
- Contribute to health and safety protocols and uphold NEP’s technical standards.
- Participate in training junior engineers or freelancers on audio workflows and systems when required.
- Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Broadcast Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on experience in live broadcast or studio environments.
- Proficient in operating digital audio consoles (e.g., Calrec, Studer, Yamaha, Lawo).
- Strong understanding of RF coordination, wireless systems, and microphone techniques.
- Experience working with intercom systems (e.g., Clear-Com, Riedel) and IP-based audio protocols (Dante, AES67).
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced production environments.
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Flexible with working hours and travel for productions across the region.
- UAE driving license preferred.

As an Audio Visual Manager, you will participate in the construction and maintenance of our studios. It's your job to ensure that programs are broadcast on time and of the highest quality. You'll carry out updates and repairs as well as operate and maintain the systems. The perfect candidate should be able to build studios from scratch according to the provided plans and diagrams, manage the technical support team and maintain various broadcast systems.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and testing new facilities and equipment.
- Maintaining equipment for video production, broadcast, and interactive media.
- Setting up and monitoring audio-visual links between units.
- Analysing and repairing technical faults on equipment and systems
- Minimising loss of service when equipment fails by quickly identifying and implementing alternative methods of service provision.
- Setting up and operating equipment and transmission links during outside broadcasts.
- Designing and installing custom audio-visual circuits.
- Designing and manufacturing hardware and systems.
- Developing and using awareness of best workplace health and safety practices.
