We are a leading media production company looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor to join our team.

This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor who will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, as well as strong understanding of digital media formats and export settings.

A Prestigious Entertainment Group in UAE requires the following staff for maintenance and troubleshooting of AV entertainment and electrical components.

Basic Salary: AED 3000/- (LKR300,000/-)

Experience in cinema Projection equipment preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

Set-up operate and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/conferencing equipment devices and systems. Oversee the set-up of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms. Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational repair or clean equipment when necessary. Label any broken equipment and communicate problems to manager/supervisor. Tape down and dress all loose wire and cable. Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order. Communicate any additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor. Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment up-sell different AV services and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals. Break-down remove and secure equipment when not in use. Read understand and adhere to Marriott Visual Productions (MVP program) SOP book.

The Audio-Visual Technician supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV and IT systems, ensuring all studio and broadcast equipment operates efficiently and according to technical plans.

1. Install various AV and IT equipment in the new studios according to the plan or diagram provided by the Broadcast Engineer.
2. Assemble professional video cameras, including lens, onboard monitor, and power supplies.
3. Install professional video cameras in the studio and connect them via SDI wires to server room equipment.
4. Ensure all digital video signals from cameras reach the desired equipment (video switcher, capturing device, monitor).
5. Run low voltage wiring (Video, Audio, and Network Cabling) through studios and facilities, including installing Server Racks, cameras, NVR/DVR, and other technological infrastructure.
6. Run SDI, XLR, and Ethernet cables; tipping wire, crimping, and testing are essential parts of installations.
7. Install professional studio lighting fixtures and modifiers according to the lighting scheme.
8. Analyze and repair technical faults on equipment and systems.
9. Minimize service loss when equipment fails by quickly identifying issues and implementing alternative solutions.

1. Experience with assembling/disassembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing computers/hardware.
2. Knowledge and use of basic test equipment such as multimeters, along with basic AC/DC circuitry understanding.
3. Knowledge of installing and soldering components on printed circuit boards following specifications.
4. Basic knowledge of installing operating systems like Windows and Linux.
5. Ability to install and configure computer peripheral devices and drivers such as monitors, scanners, and additional boards.
6. Some understanding of a television control room environment.
7. Eagerness to learn new technical skills.
8. Basic knowledge of operating a video camera.
9. Basic understanding of sound equipment like microphones and audio mixers.

What will I be doing?

As an Audio Visual Technician, you are responsible for setting up audio, video, and lighting that meet requirements to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. An AV Technician would also be required to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to meet guest requirements. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Operating & maintenance of in-house Background music system of the hotel
• Operating & maintenance of IPTV system
• Installation of all types of Audio/Visual & Projection Equipment in Banqueting & Restaurants area
• Providing Video & DVD Players on demand for guest rooms
• Operating all Kinds of Audio Visual system in Banquet function area and Beach Function.
• Responsible to set up the Audio-Visual equipment for events in the hotel and provide technical assistance for the banquet facilities and rooms
• Setting up and testing of AV equipment for banquet functions based on daily issue of function sheets, including removal and storage
• Carry out work as assigned in order to ensure the correct and functional set up of all functions
• Operate equipment for functions as when required
• Ensure on a monthly basis that an inventory is conducted for all equipment used for banquets
• Ensure that all outgoing and incoming equipment which have been requested for banquets outside catering are logged daily
• Carry out assignments on the 'Preventive Maintenance Program of AV equipment
• Cooperate and provide assistance with other Engineering colleagues whenever necessary and available
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside AV control room and AV storage room
• Inspect all function room daily and breakouts area, ensuring all lights, A/C and services are defect free and repair or replace lamps immediately
• Carry out any work requested by Superiors
• Very good knowledge in GRMS system
