**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **BIM/CAD Technician** to join our team! In this role you will get to **p** **erform basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Work closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure the project's compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completion
+ Works with BIM lead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion
+ Understand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completion
+ Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process
+ Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families
+ Strong knowledge in LOD requirements
+ Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks
+ Good knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash report
+ Able to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model
+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Diploma or degree in civil engineering.
+ Minimum 5+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in pressure networks including portable water, irrigation firefighting and sewerage systems (gravity).
+ Software experience required: AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D & Navisworks.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Good knowledge in BIM, understand LOD requirements and BIM processes.
+ Common Data Environment: ProjectWise & BIM360 is preferred.
+ Ability to communicate clearly in English.

**CAD Technician (UAE National)**

**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Assist in creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models based on project requirements.
+ Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of design outputs.
+ Interpret sketches, technical drawings, and specifications to produce high-quality CAD designs.
+ Support the preparation of technical documentation, layouts, and schematics.
+ Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
+ Revise and update drawings based on feedback or changes to project specifications.
+ Organize and maintain CAD files and project documentation.
+ Learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and workflows as required.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ A diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools (training will be provided for the right candidate).
+ Strong attention to detail and a passion for precision in design.
+ Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
+ Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
+ Basic understanding of engineering or architectural principles (preferred but not required).
+ Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
