The Construction Project Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects from inception to delivery.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, monitoring timelines, milestones, and deliverables to prevent delays. Foster collaboration with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to guarantee alignment with approved designs, drawings, and contractual obligations.

- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and expense tracking. Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors (QS) and Procurement teams to optimize costs. Approve purchase requests, subcontractor invoices, and material requisitions efficiently. Monitor variation orders and claims to prevent cost overruns.
- Enforce HSE policies and regulations onsite. Organize safety meetings, risk assessments, and safety audits. Work closely with HSE officers to maintain a safe working environment. Investigate accidents, implement preventive measures, and promote a safety culture.
- Maintain and update project schedules using tools like Primavera or MS Project. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly progress reports to senior management. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, risks, and solutions. Track and manage project documentation, RFI submissions, and approvals effectively.
- Ensure all work is completed as per contract specifications. Coordinate with government authorities for permits and inspections. Handle contract disputes, variations, and change orders professionally. Liaise with clients and consultants to ensure satisfaction and project alignment.
- Ensure completion of snagging and defect rectification before handover. Coordinate with the MEP and finishing teams for commissioning and testing. Prepare and submit as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty documents. Finalize and hand over the project to the client within agreed timelines.
