About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with a strong background in dashboard development and data analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with BI tools such as Spotfire and Power BI, with a deep understanding of data modelling, complex datasets, and the integration of cloud-based data sources. This role also requires expertise in working with APIs, relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), and the ability to deliver actionable insights through sophisticated data visualization. Experience in the Oil & Gas domain will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
Spotfire & Power BI Dashboard Development:

• Spotfire:
• Design and develop interactive Spotfire dashboards, utilizing advanced features like dynamic filtering, custom expressions, data visualization techniques, and Spotfire JavaScript API for customizations.
• Create advanced visualizations such as heatmaps, scatter plots, treemaps, and geospatial maps using Spotfire's in-built visualization capabilities.

• 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer, with a focus on dashboard design and development using Spotfire and Power BI.

• Proven experience working with large, complex datasets and ensuring data integrity.

• 2 - 5 years of experience in Power BI development.

• Excellent SQL skills and experience with data modeling.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Visualization:
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Perform advanced data analysis using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Create KPI scorecards and trend analysis reports.
Data Modeling & Integration
Develop and maintain tabular and multidimensional data models.
Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and spreadsheets.
Implement row-level security and data governance practices.
ETL & Data Preparation
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using Power Query and other tools.
Clean and prepare data for analysis ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to gather requirements.
Document processes, data models, and methodologies.
Provide training and support to end-users.
Performance Optimization
Optimize report performance and data model efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy and report rendering.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Power BI tools including Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Experience with SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and other Microsoft BI stack components.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
