Job Title: Strategic Planning Expert

As a key member of our team, you will be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Developing detailed schedules to inform management decision-making.

• Verifying monthly progress claimed by Consultants/Contractors.

• Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for ongoing projects and maintaining close follow-up with teams.
• Preparing detailed reports and presentations required for Meetings and Advisory Committee Meetings.

This role involves conducting in-depth market research, developing comprehensive business plans, and formulating strategic initiatives to attract and secure investments from international investors.

Your missions :

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential real estate investment opportunities in international markets.
  
• Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environments to assess the feasibility and attractiveness of investment projects.
  
• Evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with international real estate investments.

Investment Strategy Development:

• Create compelling investment proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of investment opportunities.

Business Planning and Financial Forecasting:

• Develop detailed business plans for potential investment projects, including financial projections, sensitivity analyses, and risk mitigation strategies.
  
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost forecasts, revenue projections, and return on investment (ROI) analyses.
  
• Monitor and track the financial performance of investments, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  

Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, finance, legal, and development teams.
  
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as international investors, financial institutions, and real estate consultants.
  
• Represent the company at international conferences, industry events, and investor meetings.
  

Due Diligence and Transaction Execution:

• Manage the due diligence process for potential investment opportunities, ensuring all relevant information is gathered and analyzed.
  
• Negotiate and structure investment agreements, working closely with legal counsel to protect the company's interests.
  
• Oversee the execution of investment transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and success of investment initiatives.
  
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing updates on investment performance, market trends, and future opportunities.
  
• Analyze investment performance data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for strategic adjustments.
  
  

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.

· Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in real estate investment, strategic planning, or a related field, with a focus on international markets.

· Proven track record of successfully sourcing, evaluating, and executing real estate investment transactions.

· Deep understanding of global real estate markets, including market dynamics, investment trends, and regulatory environments.

· Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with the ability to develop complex financial projections and investment analyses.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with international investors and other key stakeholders.

· Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills, with experience in negotiating complex investment agreements.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

· Familiarity with the UAE real estate market is an advantage.

· Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

• Communicate the Aldar Strategy across the organization and regularly report the progress of Aldar strategy implementation
• Undertake ad hoc research or feasibility studies that do not fall within an existing business unit
• Build network of peers (competitors, management consultants, real estate consultants etc.) and attend industry events, and update management on emerging trends
  

• Min of 2 years of strategy experience in a large multi-national company, real estate company (annual revenues of at least AED 2 billion) or a top-tier management consultancy
  

• Expertise in strategy deployment / frameworks, concepts and practices
• In depth knowledge of GCC real-state market
• Management Consulting / real-estate, or construction.
  

• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are required for making presentations to the leadership team
