We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD/CAM engineer to join our team.
Job Description:- Design and develop 3D models using Siemens NX software, including drafting and fixture assembly within the CAM file template.
- Perform GD&T analysis on customer drawings and carry out process planning for part manufacturing.
- Conduct product and process feasibility studies and determine appropriate machine selection.
- Design fixtures and introduce innovative concepts and develop corresponding technical manufacturing drawings.
- Generate 5-Axis Simultaneous NC Programs for Turn-Mill and Mill-Turn operations using Siemens NX Software and validate them using Siemens NX Software NC Simulation.
- Create NC programs with a focus on maximizing productivity and machining efficiency.
- Modify existing NC programs for different machines to support process improvements.
- Bachelor / Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in creating Turning Milling and Turn-Mill programming using Siemens NX Software

We are on the lookout for a BIM/CAD Technician .
ResponsibilitiesAs the BIM/CAD Technician, you will assist in creating lighting drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation. You will work alongside designers and project managers to convert lighting ideas into precise and coordinated drawing sets for both design and construction.
This position is crucial in maintaining the clarity, quality, and consistency of our studio's documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the lighting or Electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain accurate lighting plans, sections, details, and schedules using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Develop and manage Revit families for lighting fixtures and controls in coordination with design teams.
- Assist with updating project documentation across design phases (SD, DD, CD).
2. BIMCoordination
- Collaborate with architects and consultants to coordinate models and integrate lighting layouts into BIM workflows.
- Participate in clash detection, model audits, and updates based on coordination meetings.
- Manage file organization and version control within BIM360 or other project platforms.
3. Technical Support
- Assist in the creation of lighting documentation packages, including fixture specifications and control diagrams.
- Support lighting calculations or visualizations (with tools like DIALux).
- Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
We'd love to hear from you if you have skills in:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in a drafting or BIM technician role, preferably in architecture, interior, or lighting design environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential), Revit / BIM360 (strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with lighting terminology, electrical plans, and architectural coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Good time management and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Basic understanding of lighting design principles is a plus.
- Experience with DIALux, Relux, or AGi32 is a bonus but not required.
- Highly Motivated, Confident and Proactive.

**BIM/CAD Technician**
**Dubai, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Technician t to join our team! In this role you will get to perform various drafting assignments and support with design-related activities.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Work closely with Traffic & Delivery Lead, Engineering Leads and Senior Drafter to ensure the project's compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completion
+ Work closely with Traffic & Delivery Lead, Engineering Leads and Senior Drafter to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion
+ Understand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completion
+ Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process
+ Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families
+ Strong knowledge in LOD requirements
+ Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks
+ Good knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash report
+ Able to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model
+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
+ Minimum 3 years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in roads, highways, road signs & marking, traffic study.
+ Software experience required: **AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and Microstation.**
+ Common Data Environment: ProjectWise & BIM360 or ACC.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Openroads and Navisworksare desirable **.**
+ Good knowledge in BIM, understand LOD requirements and BIM processes.
+ Ability to communicate clearly in English
