**Key Responsibilities**
+ Produce detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for roads, highways, utilities, drainage, earthworks, and other civil engineering works.
+ Revise and update designs based on engineer and project manager feedback.
+ Ensure compliance with civil engineering standards, codes, and project specifications.
+ Assist in preparing design documentation, construction drawings, and as-built records.
+ Support engineers in preparing tender drawings, contract packages, and design submissions.
+ Maintain organized drawing registers, file systems, and version control.
+ Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, transportation, MEP, and architects).
+ Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines.
+ Keep up to date with CAD software developments, drafting standards, and civil engineering design practices.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
+ Proven experience as a CAD Technician in civil engineering projects (roads, highways, utilities, drainage, land development, or infrastructure).
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential); knowledge of MicroStation, Revit, or BIM software is an advantage.

- Develop and manage detailed 3D parametric models of civil infrastructure systems (e.g., roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities) using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Dynamo, Navisworks, or similar, applying advanced knowledge of civil design and modeling principles.
- Coordinate infrastructure models with architectural, structural, and MEP models, resolving clashes and ensuring integration through collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Collaborate with the team lead and BIM lead to produce civil infrastructure design documentation in accordance with BIM execution plans, project specifications, and established drawing standards.
- Oversee and perform quality checks on civil design models and technical documentation, validating accuracy, technical quality, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of company-wide BIM standards, as well as project-specific templates and object libraries specific to civil models.
- Mentor and share knowledge with the design and drafting team in civil infrastructure modeling and BIM methodologies.
- Participate in design coordination meetings, providing technical insights and solutions related to civil infrastructure systems.
- Stay updated with advancements in digital design, parametric modelling, and civil engineering technologies, and propose innovative practices to enhance project delivery and modeling efficiency.
- Proven experience in modeling and coordinating large-scale infrastructure projects such as utilities, highways, railways and tunnels.
- Hands-on experience with BIM implementation across all project phases (concept, schematic, preliminary, detailed design, tender and construction).
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, MEP, and contractors.
- Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Level of Development (LOD) standards, and ISO 19650 or similar BIM standards.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo and MicroStation is required.
- Expertise in modeling grading, corridors, utility pipe networks, and pressure networks.
- Strong knowledge of documentation practices and standards, such as BIM templates, part list creation, property data set management, and drawing production workflows.
- Ability to mentor junior modelers and support team development.
- Proactive in problem-solving and optimizing modeling workflows.
