As an Account Manager for New Cardiology in the Gulf region, you will own the end-to-end sales process across UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait. This role will focus on identifying and developing commercial opportunities, building key stakeholder relationships, and executing sales strategies tailored to each market. Responsibilities
  • Achieving quarterly sales targets aligned with annual business goals.
  • Providing regional and strategic market insights to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), National Sales Manager (NSM), Business Unit Manager (BUM), and Marketing teams to support annual planning.
  • Understanding account-level unmet needs and creating detailed account plans. Supporting RSMs in Top Tier 1 accounts while working independently in other Tier 1, Tier 2, and (if applicable) Tier 3 accounts.
  • Designing and executing sales strategies in alignment with account plans and regional objectives.
  • Mapping stakeholders and developing tailored engagement strategies, ensuring CRM systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with clinical Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and economic stakeholders.
  • Promoting value-based solutions and engaging decision-makers using Health Economics arguments.
  • Supporting the clinical team in identifying and managing opportunities driven by clinical support needs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales or hybrid commercial role within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, a scientific discipline, business education, or nursing.
  • Proven experience working with or through medical device distributors in the Gulf region.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.

Technical

Diagnoses and treats patients according to established standards of best practice for the post holder’s specialty. The Consultant Physician’s clinical duties include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Oversees the clinical activities of the junior medical staff and is assumes responsibility for the care they provide
  1. Complies with all established hospital polices regarding admissions, consultations, daily patient care, surgical procedures, discharge protocols, outpatient and follow up practices

  • Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Promotes incident, customer complaint and patient satisfaction survey reporting to improve patient and family care.

  • Ensures nursing pre-screening is done 48 hours before any appointment.
  • Ensures that the quality checklist is met at all times. For any deficiencies, ensure an action plan is put in place and followed.
  • Ensures the monthly submission of the environmental round audit report and follow-up on deficiencies.
  • Ensures clinic stock level is within the required Pareto level and works with Materials Management to decrease non-moving and slow-moving items.
  • Ensures closure of CRM requests accurately within the allotted time frame.
  • Ensures all items in the Quality Round are met and places an action plan for those not met.
  • Supports in the preparation of the nursing clinical slides and includes them in the monthly Quality Improvement (QI) meeting.
  • Follows up on all approved and not utilised tests and ensures they are scheduled.
  • Follows up with the insurance coordinator on all approvals that are pending and ensures all patients are updated on the status.
  • Ensures no walkouts take place in the clinic.
  • Closes on time all safe points and ensures they are being addressed, and root cause analysis is performed.
  • Ensures all clinical KPIs are placed monthly on the Patient Safety Data Board.
  • Ensures Patient Tracker is updated.
  • Ensures staff are following the dress code.
Responsibilities

Unit Specific:

  • Performs nursing interventions/procedures per established standards of care (CompetencyList"GreenBook") policy and procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Assists in the management of patients requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
  • Supports patients undergoing extracorporeal hemoadsorption (EHAC) therapy.
  • Aids in pacemaker insertion and management for patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.
  • Helps in percutaneous coronary interventions (CTO) to treat coronary artery disease.
  • Assists in pulmonary artery catheter insertion and removal.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Degree in Nursing (minimum two (2) years course duration) and Registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
  • For UAE nationals graduates of UAE or non-UAE universities are exempted from the experience and clinical training requirements for the applied title. (UAENational must submit a copy of their birth certificate and the mother's family book).
  • Non-UAE national graduates from UAE universities are required to successfully complete six (6) months of clinical training post-graduation in an APShealth facility (except for Registered and assistant Nurse titles).
  • Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).
  • Must hold a minimum of a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or others, according to the scope of practice.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of recent post-graduate experience in Cardiology Nursing or Heart Centre.
  • Previous Team Leader or Senior Registered Nurse experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and ability to render care and services based on the age, appropriateness, and developmental needs of patients.
  • Skills in the assessment of patients' and families' physical and psychological needs.
