To maintain up-to-date technical documentation and international standards. Oversee procurement processes related to certification and testing at the third-party laboratories ensuring that purchase requisitions, orders, and payments are executed efficiently to avoid delays in project timelines.
KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES
Certification Process Management
- Renew, maintain and update all required certifications & approvals on time in the system database.
- Arrange and supervise the progress of test and inspection activities at the third-party lab to validate Product compliance.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, external labs, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.
- Keep abreast of evolving regulations and standards that impact product certification requirements.
- Organize certification bodies approval audits in liaison with QHSE team to obtain product approvals.
- Maintain up to date PTD procedures in the Document Management Systems including mandatory review and re-issue in line with the document control procedures
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and review technical documentation, certification reports, approvals status, and compliance statements ensuring traceability and accuracy of records.
- Provide timely reports on certification status, non-compliance findings, and escalate critical issues to management.
- Prepare and report monthly on the Expenditures vs Annual Budget of certification and approvals.
Technical Expertise
- Apply technical knowledge to assess the product compliance with relevant design and performance standards.
KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
: Bachelor's degree in (Mechanical, Electrical) Engineering or related field.
Desirable
: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification. Knowledge in cable standards such as IEC, BS, UL, IEEE, ASTM, NEMA, AEIC etc.
Experience:
