Job Description
About this Role: Senior Coordinator - Strategic Outreach
You know how to build trust, nurture relationships, and map ecosystems others don't see.
This role leads on outreach strategy - working alongside the MIZA team and the Junior Coordinator to identify businesses, networks, and individuals we should be in conversation with. You'll manage the outreach lifecycle: from identifying leads to initiating contact, coordinating follow-ups, and reporting insights. You'll also support the delivery of programming and open house events tied to leasing.
You'd be great in this role if you:
- Have experience in partnership development, ecosystem building, or outreach strategy
- Are confident in initiating conversations and managing stakeholder relationships
- Can translate loose insights into clear lists, invites, and follow-ups
- Are excited to co-lead delivery of open houses, workshops, and intimate public-facing activations
In This Role:
You'll lead on outreach strategy as part of MIZA's broader Leasing Push — an eight-part campaign to shape the next wave of businesses and collaborators in the neighborhood. This role is part connector, part relationship manager, and part strategic listener.
You'll help us identify promising leads, connect with new communities, and manage the full lifecycle of outreach — from research and first contact to meetings, follow-up, and insights. You'll work closely with the Junior Research & Outreach Coordinator and with the internal team to ensure we're engaging the right people, in the right way, at the right time.
This role also supports the delivery of leasing-related events like open houses, walk-throughs, and program activations. It's ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience in relationship-building, partnership development, or stakeholder engagement.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Outreach Strategy & Relationship Building
- Identify promising businesses, networks, and individuals we should be in conversation with
- Manage first contact and act as the main liaison for key prospects
- Maintain warm, ongoing relationships with aligned leads
- Guide who should be passed forward for internal meetings, and when
Tracking & Reporting
- Keep detailed logs of all outreach activity — who was contacted, when, and outcome
- Track leads and ensure clean, accurate records
- Prepare short weekly reports on:
- Outreach activity (new leads, responses, follow-ups)
- Fit assessments (aligned, misaligned, to be revisited)
- Key insights and recommendations
Cross-Team Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the Junior Coordinator on research and lead database building
- Schedule and prepare for meetings with prospects (including briefing notes)
- Support follow-ups, documentation, and flagging action points
Event & Program Support
- Assist in the coordination and on-site delivery of open houses, walk-throughs, and intimate activations
- Liaise with speakers, facilitators, and guests to ensure seamless engagement
- Provide wrap-ups and help translate activations into relationship opportunities
You Would Be Perfect for This Role If:
You have 3–5 years of experience in outreach, ecosystem building, or stakeholder engagement
You're great at starting and sustaining conversations with clarity and care
You're confident in translating fuzzy ideas into structured outreach or events
You love building networks — and you're always keeping track of who's doing great work
You're organized, proactive, and know how to keep a database clean and meaningful
Successful Candidates Will Be Extraordinary At:
Spotting and nurturing relationships that align with MIZA's values
Managing communications across dozens of prospects without losing track
Building a community around opportunity — not just filling quotas
Translating informal networks into structured, actionable outreach
Bridging the gap between strategy and delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
