• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with 3D design tools such as SketchUp or Cinema 4D is a plus.
• Reliable, quality-focused, and able to manage multiple design projects efficiently while working well within a supportive team environment.

Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our design studio, you will be responsible for leading structural design teams and providing direct supervision, mentoring, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural design tasks including stability analysis, foundation design, and conventional reinforced concrete slabs in compliance with relevant local and international codes.
• Develop structural design models using industry-standard software and perform manual calculations to evaluate forces, stresses, and strains on structural components.
• Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to develop safe and functional designs that align with the project's architectural vision.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance (QA/QC) processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of structural designs and documentation.
• Review and monitor work completed by sub-consultants and specialty engineers ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Provide technical support to construction teams and contractors assisting in resolving any structural issues during the construction phase to facilitate timely project completion.
• Conduct design reviews and checks to maintain high-quality standards as per company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant structural design experience.
• Experience working on mid to high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, PROKON, RAM Concept, ADAPT, or similar tools.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is an advantage.

Managing design consultants daily, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and best practice standards.
Managing and coordinating the Authority requirements and Permitting process/procedures with the local Authorities, Client and Contractors involved.
Managing and coordinating the overall design and development process in coordination with the client's wider project and delivery team.
Coordinating with the client's procurement team in the preparation and execution of consultant bidder's lists, RFPs, and technical evaluations.
Ensuring consultant submissions are complete and comply with the deliverable lists identified in the consultant's contract.
Facilitating expedient consultant invoicing & stage payments.
Preparing and presenting stage-gate presentations to the client's management.
Managing material submission and approvals.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Evaluate design consultant work, edit contracts if needed, and review payments.
Supervise and coordinate design changes and revisions of design and construction drawings.
Assess shop drawings for correctness and alignment with approved plans and design intent.
Organize and contribute to designing and developing design and construction delivery strategies.
Maintain records and prepare reports and presentations on design and development projects.
Provide design feedback and recommendations to align with the approved direction and design intent.
Oversee site inspections to check development project progress and to confirm compliance with regulations and specifications.
Keep up to date with the latest designs and solutions by reading the latest journals and exploring new trends.

We are seeking a seasoned BIM professional to lead the development of 3D models for Commercial, Hospitality, and Mixed-use projects.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in utilizing Revit, BIM 360, and AutoCAD software, as well as strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Create and coordinate 3D BIM models using Revit and other software applications.
• Conduct design coordination, including reviews, comments, and RFIs, to ensure accurate model implementation.
• Understand project requirements and develop models accordingly, ensuring alignment with the BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
• Produce precise drawings and extract data based on the BIM platform.

• Recruit, mentor and provide mentoring and guidance to the team throughout work processes.
• Attend meetings with external consultants and authorities when needed and following up on deliverables.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor / Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent with at least 20 years of experience in industry
• You must have experience of managing a multidisciplinary Design Studio of significant size i.e. 100 design employees +
• Ability to develop world class management / administration practices.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering large real estate development (premium mixed-use developments and hospitality projects).
• Excellent contract management and team management skills.
• Advanced negotiations skills to deal with potential external and internal "pain points".
• In depth knowledge of design / construction techniques, sequencing, and management.
• Sound knowledge of constructability, design standardization, operational excellence.
• Well conversant with IBC, DM codes, NFPA, UDC or any other relevant to the project and scope.
• Strong communication, presentation and convincing skills.
