An Environmental Sustainability Manager is a critical role responsible for ensuring that our organization operates in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.

This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our environmental health and safety management system to ensure alignment with UAE laws, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defense regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing environmental sustainability initiatives, leading internal audits, compliance assessments, and management reviews.

• Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce environmental impact through efficient use of energy, water, and waste management practices.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain an up-to-date risk register to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
• Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage contractor safety protocols, permits to work (PTW), and chemical safety documentation to ensure a safe working environment.
• Enforce personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and compliance with established health and safety policies.

• Deliver comprehensive safety training programs, including staff inductions, emergency drills, first aid, and hazard identification.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and engagement of departmental safety champions.
• Support food safety training initiatives in compliance with HACCP and Dubai Municipality guidelines.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits in high-risk operational areas, including kitchens, engineering, housekeeping, and recreational facilities.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety standards for water quality, air quality, pool safety, and pest control.
• Validate best practices for food receiving, storage, and handling in accordance with HACCP protocols.

• Prepare and present monthly reports on EHS performance, including KPIs, training records, audit findings, and incident trends.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation in compliance with ISO standards and local legal requirements.
• Contribute to ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives.
• Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact through efficient use of energy, water, and waste management practices.

• Support and maintain green building or sustainability certifications.

Job Title: Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective Environmental Health & Safety Management System across multiple properties. This includes ensuring alignment with local laws, regulations, and international standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 .

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Environmental Health & Safety Management System to ensure a safe working environment for employees and guests.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain an up-to-date risk register.
• Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses; ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Occupational Safety , Environmental Science , or a related field, with a certification like NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Health & Safety or EHS Leadership role is required, preferably in hospitality or similar multi-site operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety , Environmental Science , or a related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent.
• HACCP Level 4 (mandatory for food safety oversight).
• ISO 14001 / 45001 Lead Auditor certifications (preferred).

Environmental Sustainability Specialist

The successful Environmental Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental management programs across various construction projects. The role ensures full compliance with UAE environmental regulations, ISO 14001 standards, and company sustainability policies. This position focuses on reducing environmental impact through effective waste management, pollution control, energy efficiency, and environmental reporting.

• Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans (EMPs) to ensure regulatory compliance.
