Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain compliance with external accreditation schemes, such as LEED Cities & Communities and Mostadam.
- Monitor contractors', consultants', business partners', and supply chains' adherence to sustainability accreditation requirements.
- Review master plan sustainability requirements on assets, public realm, infrastructure, and development.
- Develop and implement site-wide waste, energy, water, material, and climate change management strategies.
- Assure asset design complies with waste, energy, water, material, and climate change management strategies.
- Manage sustainability accreditation strategies, systems, policies, and procedures, including training and capacity building.
- Integrate the sustainability team with Corporate and Division's policies, manuals, and procedures.
- Direct the Sustainability Accreditations team toward meeting or exceeding sustainability and project KPIs.
- A Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, sustainability, or environment is required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainability and/or sustainability accreditation is essential.
- Professional certifications like LEED BD+C AP, Mostadam AP, Estidama AP, and GSAS AP are necessary.
- You must have strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project requirements.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing project schedules is crucial.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices, green infrastructure, and placemaking concepts is a plus.
- Preferred experience in large-scale sustainability projects, especially in client or client-representative roles, is an advantage.
- Middle East sustainability accreditation experience is highly valued.
