to join our team
Role Overview:
In this full time role in our JLT office, you'll report directly to the Managing Partner and collaborate with the leadership team to build a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Role:
Oversee full employee lifecycle, including onboarding (introducing new hires to company culture and monitoring induction programs for smooth transitions), ongoing engagement, annual performance reviews, sick & annual leave monitoring, performance improvement plans, offboarding's and so on. - Policy & Compliance:
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE labor laws (e.g., Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations). Administer policies for development to build a positive, high-performance culture; communicate changes effectively and provide guidance on best practices. - Employee Relations & Leadership Support:
Manage employee relations, and disciplinary actions to build leadership confidence; partner with the CEO and leadership team to resolve people issues pragmatically, drive a performance-oriented culture, and handle sensitive matters with discretion, urgency, informed recommendations, and quick actions. - Data & Reporting:
Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and office files; monitor staff movements, attrition, and vacancies to ensure timely, cost-efficient filling of roles; prepare information for employee reviews and generate seamless reporting for compliance and strategic insights. - Employee Support & Collaboration:
Act as the primary point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance and resources; support the Senior HR Director in driving firm-wide and stream-specific strategic priorities, collaborating across the HR function to deliver seamless, first-class HR services; provide business-focused, best-practice HR support to designated business areas. - General Office Management: Oversee administrative functions to improve organizational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and daily operations. Co-ordinating employee schedules, maintaining facility standards and facilitating communication. Enhance productivity, support business objectives and foster positive work environment by connecting various departments.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR and/or office/facilities management, preferably in a professional services firm (legal experience a plus).
- Strong knowledge of UAE employment laws and regulations, plus familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees, leaders, and executives; proactive, decisive mindset comfortable making quick calls in high-pressure or ambiguous situations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to balance strategic projects with urgent HR and operational needs; proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain confidentiality in a sensitive environment.
- Based in UAE with either a Visit or Residence Visa (we will provide if needed)
