Job Description
A clinical oncology specialist is required to join our medical team. This position involves applying medical knowledge and skills to diagnose, prevent, and treat illnesses for patients within the hematology and oncology specialty.
Responsibilities- Monitor and provide care to patients with cancer-related conditions.
- Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Analyze patient records, reports, and test results to diagnose medical conditions.
- Interact with patients to gather additional history and information about their medical condition.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Provide specific treatments and/or perform operations to treat patient medical conditions.
- Evaluate patient progress and record applicable notes about their condition.
- Liaise with other medical staff to ensure quality patient treatment.
- Supply and provide care in a culturally sensitive manner.
- A minimum of two years' experience post-qualification for physicians from Tier 1 countries.
- A minimum of five years' experience post-qualification for physicians from Tier 2 countries.
- A valid license to practice medicine in their home country and/or country of last employment.
- Maintenance of Certification requirements.
- The ability to effectively manage a team of healthcare professionals.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is preferred.
- A medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB, DO) from an accredited institution.
