Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai for a Clothing Technologist. The Clothing Technologist will be responsible for overseeing garment construction, fitting, and quality control. The role involves working closely with the design team, communicating with suppliers, and ensuring that all textiles meet the brand's standards of excellence. Daily tasks will include monitoring production processes, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring that all garments are produced according to design specifications.

An eye for detail & reviewing items with extreme care are key to this role. Good technical understanding of garment finishing, construction and measurements. The role involves thorough inspection of garments and accessories.
Responsibilities
- Review all incoming items according to set guidelines to determine acceptable and unacceptable conditions.
- Inspect conditions and measure, clean, prepare and record product details.
- Assist Clothing & Accessories Authenticators with authenticity & quality check.
- Assist internal teams in handling client requests about condition grading specifications.
- Maintain a seamless flow of communication with multiple departments including photography, web content and customer service
- Assist Clothing Authenticators in the authentication process and in building acceptable condition guides and grading range.
Requirements
- At least 1 or 2 years of clothing experience in luxury clothing in-store Sales or manufacturing of high end clothing / even a fresh fashion graduate with keen eye willing to learn and perform can be considered.
- Good understanding of garment construction and clothing terminology
- Education - preferably a major in garment construction & pattern making
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
