Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and certified Senior Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our cloud security posture. This is a critical role focused on implementing robust data protection and ensuring secure identity and device management across our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

Role Overview

You will be the key architect and implementer of our cloud security strategy. Key Responsibilities

Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Purview DLP policies across all Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).

Device & Access Control: Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune (MDM) policies for secure device compliance and strong Conditional Access.

Identity Management: Administer and secure Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM, and SSO integrations.

Defender Suite Optimization: Deploy, configure, and optimize the full Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud).

Security Assessment: Perform comprehensive Cloud Security Gap Assessments against standards like NIST and ISO 27001, providing actionable remediation plans.

Collaboration: Work across teams (Infrastructure, Application, Compliance) to embed security into all cloud adoption initiatives.

Reporting (Optional): Develop security dashboards and integrate/monitor security events using Microsoft Sentinel and Power BI .

Mandatory Requirements

Experience: 6–8 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a heavy focus on Microsoft cloud security technologies.

Core Expertise: Proven experience with Microsoft Purview DLP, Intune (MDM), Entra ID, and the Microsoft Defender suite.

Architecture: Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and identity-centric security models.

Assessment Skills: Experience conducting security assessments and producing detailed gap analysis reports.

Certifications: Must hold at least two active certifications from the following:

SC-400: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator

SC-401: Information Security Administrator

Preferred Qualifications

The Principal Information Security Consultant shall be the primary technical liaison between our clients and our internal security teams.
