Public Relations Assistant
mainly responsible for monitoring newspapers and magazines about news reports on countries under the ETO’s purview, preparing press summaries as well as those about Hong Kong, producing publicity materials in connection with the ETO’s events/activities, including display panels, publication and websites, and maintaining databases of contacts, news database and publicity materials.
Main Job Duties
(i)To assist in monitoring newspapers and magazines about news reports on countries under the ETO’s purview and prepare press summaries.
(ii) To assist in monitoring newspapers and magazines about news reports on Hong Kong and prepare press summaries.
(iii) To assist in producing publicity materials in connection with the ETO’s events/activities, including display panels, publications, and websites.
(iv) To maintain a database of the contacts of the ETO, news database and content of website; to maintain and distribute publicity materials; and to file press releases.
(v)To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Entry Requirements
(i) A Higher Diploma or equivalent (preferably in journalism, communication, marketing or relevant subjects; a higher degree would be an advantage);
(ii) A minimum of 2 years of experience (experience in multimedia content creation, social media management and knowledge relevant to Hong Kong would be an advantage);
(iii) Proficient in written and spoken English (proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage);
(iv)Must be a resident of the UAE at the time of hire and be eligible to work in the UAE; and
(v) Must have no impediments to obtain and hold a work permit to work legally in the UAE.
Starting salary from AED 96,720 gross per annum, depending upon experience.
