The Compliance Program Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and managing effectively and efficiently a plan to execute the compliance program for all activities within the cluster.
This includes ensuring global policies, standards and processes are applied, and suitable addenda and supplementary procedures established and maintained for compliance with applicable jurisdictional laws and regulations.
Responsibilities include identifying contradictions between local law and regulations, and group standards, escalating promptly and establishing mitigating processes and controls.
The Compliance Program Manager will work closely with senior product, function, and Cluster management, and other teams on strategic initiatives and emerging issues.
- In situations where this role is the designated Legal Entity Compliance Officer, listed country/business/function/product level responsibilities will extend towards legal entities under their purview as required.
- Compliance Reporting: Preparing quarterly reports in accordance with the approved global format, and adhering to all established requirements for State of Compliance reporting.
- Enhancing Governance: Providing a valued interactive program of support and compliance risk management services covering assessment and reporting of Key Compliance Risks across products, services, functions, legal entities, service centers and the jurisdiction as a whole.
- Stakeholder Support and Relationships: Developing senior management relationships, including legal entity management and Citi Country Officers, and informing senior management of significant compliance matters that require attention or action.
Bachelor s/University degree, Master s degree preferred.
A professional background in compliance, risk management or a related field is highly desirable.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards is essential.
Prior experience working in a similar role or relevant industry position is advantageous.
