About Your Team
You'll be joining a collaborative digital construction team focused on supporting BIM workflows and maintaining high-quality information management standards. You'll engage with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure digital deliverables are achieved in line with ALEC's high standards and ISO 19650 protocols.
Your Role
As Digital Construction Coordinator, you will:
- Support the setup and communication of project information requirements
- Help ensure client Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) are documented and met
- Contribute to BIM Execution Plans, delivery schedules, and coordination workflows
- Perform 3D spatial coordination and raise/assign issues in BIM platforms
- Provide daily support and training on BIM tools and digital construction practices
- Monitor and maintain Common Data Environments (CDE) and document management systems
- Perform QA/QC on internal and subcontractor BIM models and data
- Support project reporting, tender activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a BIM or Digital Construction coordination role
- Solid knowledge of ISO 19650 and Information Management workflows
- Proficiency in BIM authoring tools (Revit, Tekla, Archicad)
- Proficiency in BIM coordination tools (Navisworks, Revizto)
- Experience with cloud-based CDE platforms (Aconex, ACC Docs)
- Strong understanding of openBIM standards (IFC, COBie)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and a structured, problem-solving mindset
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated model checking (Solibri)
- Familiarity with visual programming (Dynamo, Python)
- Knowledge of 4D/5D processes and Power BI for reporting
